Pirpintine's right - worrying about the colours and eye colours is only a point-of-sale concern - I WOULD love it regardless once mine had arrived.  Sometimes things do work out better that way!

 what worries me the most I think is not the price, but the fact that they keep saying that there are going to be, " very very limited quanities", Does that mean only 100 , less than 100 or what? and then when will there be More Pleo RB available to the public? If there are such limited quanities available and they are expensive to produce or have parts that are hard to get a hold of, these are going to be rare, hard to get, and sell for a heck lot more than they cost for people who are willing to pay an arm and a leg just to get one for their kid at Christmas, This is what I predict and I am sure others are fearing the same thing. If it sold for around $500.00 in the Hong Kong market, I bet the U.S. market is going to be more like $600.00.  anyone else have thoughts on that ?

This is correct.  As I mentioned earlier, the blue and pink Pleos are ONLY for the Asian market.

One thing for everybody to remember is that when Ugobe was making the Pleos then they let the US have all of the Pleos first and the rest of the world had to wait.  I would have loved to get a first hatch when they were on pre-order but I was not allowed one!!!  So surely it is fair that now Pleo is made by an Asian company they can let their market have the first taste???

 Grumpy, so if I understand correctly, when Innova announces the pre order sale, it will be the members on Pleo world who will be notified first and then it is
First come first serve? and then we still may have to wait till Christmas or whenever they become available, is this correct? Then for the rest of the people who want Pleo RB worldwide, are we going to have to wait another year for more to be made, or will there be other Pleos made, but possisbly having to wait till the following holiday season. So another way to put it is this example:
               Pleoworld mails out pre orders to everyone on their mailing list, and there are 200 Pleo Rb available, period. All 200 are paid for in less than three days and there are no more till whenever more are produced. In the meantime, is Pleo 2009 still being made and available at Pleoworld site, or will it no longer exist? a couple of days ago I went to Pleoworld, and when I clicked on buy Pleo, there was a X through it and it said, Not Available What does that mean? Are they temp out or are they done producing Pleo 2009, and it will only be available anymore through second sites like Ebay when someone sells one? I don't understand if there is such a limited supply, how there can be many sales on Pleoworld, what Pleos will they be selling, or are they going to focus all their attention on accessories?
                 If I can't get one here, then I will try to buy one from someone who gets one from HOng Kong, If they are that limited, I will be expected to pay a high price, but I remember the crazy Cabbage Patch doll craze in the 1980s, and parents that were willing to pay upwards of over a $100.00 for this doll that you can get at any auction site or thrift store for a mere dollar, no one even wants one anymore, and I can't understand why they would, myself, at least Pleo is unique and cute as Heck!
                  If it is supposed to be a couple of weeks till Pleo Rb becomes available, I am going to be living by my computer for the next two weeks, afraid I will miss that important email, I think a lot of people are going to be very very upset this year by not getting one, I agree that it is only fair that the China market gets first chance this time around, but I don't think it was FAIR. that PleoWorld announced all these improvements and got everyone all excited all year long waiting for the new color pleo and all it's improvements, waiting for it's release and then to find out their dreams are going to be crushed, as Pleo Rb won't more than likely even be available except to perhaps 1% of the Pleo Population wanting one, outside of the HOng Kong Market, We never even found out the color we all voted on. Looks like Old Pleos  are still going to be big sellers this years for all those who want a Pleo but can not buy a Pleo Rb.... :(It is actually a little depressing untill you actually see one in the " flesh". We know that the formula for the paint used on pleo rb is now more flexible and should last longer hopefully .

I was talking about tears on the skin. Maybe we should ask to new members with new 2009 pleos if the skin is really durable than the first pleos we have

Pleo reborn Skin has been improved even more from the 2009 models is what we are told so it is the skin on reborn i am interested in how it is going to do .

Also Marci was it in your reborn manual that it says about the girl/ boy  boy/boy  girl/girl interactions ? as i am curious to know if it is something that only the Hong kong exclusive reborns will  have the ability to do that ?

 This may sound like a stupid question, but are the new Pleo Rb going to be able to interact with the Old Pleos? will they recognize them or are there going to have to be some sort of update for old existing pleos for this to happen?

RMW,  Innvo Labs will send out the announcement here in the next few weeks to those people who have signed up to be on the PleoWorld mailing list.  Once that goes out, they will begin taking orders first come, first served.  Then, about a week later, they will add the Pleo RB to the PleoWorld site for people to place orders (assuming there are any left).  They will be shipping the pleos within a few weeks of starting to place orders, so you should get your Pleo RB well before Christmas (probably November or early December).  They don't want to make the announcement until they are sure the pleos will be available to ship.

Then, a few months later, as early in 2011 as possible, when the parts become available, they will be making a bunch more to sell.  And by that time, we should know more about any distributors reselling pleos outside of PleoWorld.  So, there should be plenty of pleos on the market by March or April, and mor sources world-wide . . .

Hmm, yes, this is what I'm beginning to think now, that non-U.S. and non-Asia prospective Pleo RB owners will have to wait until next year

Well, Malfie, it will be an issue of cost... import taxes, VAT, etc., that may make ordering from PleoWorld too expensive, but IMHO that seems to be an issue witht the country, not Innvo's fault.  They are working to set up distributors...  Don't know if there is anything we can do about that, other than waiting.   On the 2009 pleos, the only source was PleoWorld, so the idea that they are looking at distributors for the Pleo PB in other countries is a positive.

Maybe several of you there in the UK should look into opening an import company...

We have been all over the web as "news" since the day after the blue pleo rb showed up here!  Type "pleo rb" into google and you will see hundreds of sites talking all about it with the photos and youtube clips that were first posted here.  Also much use of the interview with Derek. 
The whole world wants one now!!!!!

Makes me laugh that so many of them say that the Pink and Blue are going to be the new colour for everyone not mentioning the green  at all!

Well I definitely want a Blue Pleo. And I hope this forces Innvo Labs to listen or change it plans --- that some of us in the western market want something different -- something that will set this new batch apart from the others cosmetically. I really felt excited that I was given a chance to vote for a new pleo color -- but all of that is just a farce when I found out that Innvo Labs was staying with the same old green color in the US. Then I found out about the blue color for the Asian market and I thought ---  hey I voted for that color -- I was the one that gave feedback, and it will not be sold anywhere close to Chicago??!!!!!!! Come on Innvo labs!!!!

Blue with Pink lines ... dude ? i want to only see realistic colours on Pleo Reborn really . Yeah blue and pink are great for little Kids i am sure that will attract them to pleo even more But at my age i want realistic colours .

I agree on one thing, I don't like the pink lines -- but a Pleo with different shades of blue --i.e. dark blue lines with lighter blues will be cool.   All I'm asking is that Innvo labs should give us a choice. Besides there is science to support that dinosaurs may have diverse colors patterns just like the birds of today -- so the color blue maybe another "realistic" alternative.

Yeah i am thinking though the types of Dinosaurs like Pleo, Would of had colours to camouflage within the tree's etc in which they would of lived , Maybe the 1s that flew had bighter colours ...

Any ways for now we know we are going to get the shades of greens with brown which should be ok with me all depending what shade of green i end up with lol But you never know in the future maybe some time next year they might release a line of Blues and Pinks for example ? Its a possibility .
