Yeah hopefully next year they will come out with more "realistic" alternative colors. I do agree whole-heartedly that Pleo must not look like a cheap toy with random colors -- but a "lifeform" with more diversity.

poison arrow frogs are small and can hide away from danger a lot easy then something like Pleo would be able too . Also most things that are poisonous usually are brightly coloured .

I want to be able to choose the eye color (with 10 choices) of my 2010 Pleo. We should be able to choose.

I think we should have 2 options: To choose your colors or to get a randomly colored one

I never got to see the colour choices when they did the poll, but given enough people liking any number of the choices they'll probably make sure that colour comes out. I'm sure there will be numerous options as to what they'll have. If you make people happy by giving them a choice then they're more likely to buy your product. So i'm sure we'll see blues, greens, browns...and who knows...stripes, spots and maybe even a checker pattern lol

 I don;t think I am as worried about not gettting the option of choosing an eye color or getting stuck with a certain shade, as I am with one of the following:
1. NOt even being able to get ANY PLEO RB.
2. Pleo Rb costing such an extravagent amount, say over $600.00    or
3. Getting the random personality of the new Pleo Rb that has the " dumb gene, " or worse yet, " the Pleo Rb " that is antisocial and  moody, or so tempermental, that he will not listen or do what he is told, will not respond to his name, basically like re-raising my children when they were going through the " teen Angst",   No offense to any pre-teens or teens out there, but other members who are parents know exactly what I am talking about,  The Scenario would go something like this;
 Oh what a cute Pleo RB, lets see what shall I call you,hmmm, I then pick a name and put the identiy card in her mouth, and she then says, when I call her name," Daisy, your name is Daisy', Pleo Rb responds by lowering her head and spitting out the card, then stomping on it till it is broken in tiny bits, ' honking a few loud honks, Daisy, Daisy, that is so not happening, Daisy, are you out of your ever loving mind!that was so yesterday, and I am not, I repeat, Not yesterday's Pleo, don'[t you have any eyes, or are you as dumb as you sound too?"You are not calling me no stupid plant form... >:(and if you think I am going to wear some stupid ID collar like a Pet, you are so wrong, I am nobody's Pet, and I get up when I want and I eat when I want and if you dont' bring me my latte and fern, and no stale orchard fern that has been trampled by who knows what, then you better get your priorities set now, so I can tell you just what is what,  at this point, I am ready to return this Pleo Rb and get a refund, but If I get the Stupid Pleo Rb, or " learning Disabled" politically correct jargon you know, then it will be like raising a Pleo Rb version of Gomer Pyle only a lot " dumber", and I may as not even get a Pleo Rb ...
 I am hoping I get a Smart Pleo Rb, or one that is able to learn quick, or one that is very loyal to it's owner, that would be ideal and I would like that a lot, How about a Pleo Rb that is very sweet, wanting to kiss and cuddle all the time, hmm, how about a Freddy Kruger type Pleo Rb who is allwalys lurking around the corners, very quiet and likes to follow you into the bathroom when you want to take a shower and has seen PSYCHO one too many times late at night ....and you thougt he was asleep?  Get the idea about options and things worse than eye colors or shades of skin?!!! Just give me a nice quiet " normal Pleo Rb and I will take it from there please.  How about a Pleo with two different colored eyes while we are on the subject though...

Two different shades of eyes would be brilliant. If that were to happen i'd have to call him Bowie for obvious reasons.
And don't jinx yourself by saying you'll get the emotionally defunct Pleo, or it might come true. Hurry up and knock on some wood or something

Actually RWM, your description of 'teen angst Pleo' sounds a lot like Wilma the Aibo 210's first few days with me!  She kept turning her back on me and howling and responded to very little except 'are you alright', to which she'd shake her head 'no'!  We get on famously now (especially after I stopped calling her a 'good boy'), so I'm sure that whatever Pleo rb you end up with you'll end up loving! 

For the rest, we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed.

I would love to see some photos and video footage of the new "green" pleo rbs.  Or the pink and blue ones demonstrating all the cool things they can do.  Surely it must be the next logical step in stringing us along on the journey towards releasing the little guys.  I think we are all going a little stir crazy with the waiting.
Some exciting visual stimulation would relieve the pressure I think.

Can't wait till I can get a pleo rb.

You know those Pleo's you see on ebay from Japan that come with the poly battery , bag and other accessories .... Well i messaged them and asked if they sold Innvo Pleo's and he replied No these are ugobe pleo's 2010 models 
i replied back to him saying No ugobe made the older Pleo's and it is now Innvo with the newer 2009 models and he replied
 
yes i know,but our pleo is diffenter,they have been changed by china engneer.if yiu have other question,let me know,thank you

If you look on the hong kong pleoworld web page and click on get pleo it takes you to http://www.chinatete.net/  click on the picture of pleo and it brings up an info page of pleo 2010!  but it seems this is just the same as the inovo 2009 model I think?  Maybe these are the same ones that are being sold on ebay?  You don't seem to be able to buy them from this site though which is a bit miss leading of Pleoword as it it the "get Pleo" button on their site that sends you here.

It would be great to see a few different pleo rbs so we can get a good look at how some of the paint tone variations are going to look.  I know there were a lot of concerns about the brightness of the yellow/ green that we have glimpsed in your previous photos.  It would be nice to see just what we are going to be getting color wise in the green rb.
Looking forward to all you wonderful pictures.

degers, I will gladly look at photos of any Pleo Rb that you feel kind enough to post including the green, but I would be thrilled to see any color except green as I am hoping that if I am lucky enought to buy a Pleo RB, ( and I will come up with the money .... ) I would like to see my choices, as I allready have a whole house full of 6+ Green, GREEN Pleos, and would like any color but Green if Possible, It is getting tough to tell this many Pleos apart, except for Nova and the other one (45) with a broken neck,  Green is fine if it looks a lot different than the current Pleos coloring, and esp if you can show up close ups of their eyes, Please can we allso see some eyes?

we were told that they were all going to have the green tone just slightly different shades and the green will go further down the legs on reborn so we should be able to tell them apart

Thanks for posting degers, It is great to finally see a "green" pleo rb from head to tail! 
I would love to see some more showing the color variations.  Maybe two pleos side by side.

Yeah thanks for the picture Degers , that 1 is a bit too bright for my Liking though lol just hope i get a darker green shade when i finally get mine .

Woohoo - thanks, a whole Pleo rb at last!!  Though personally, methinks 'tis more of a yellow Pleo than a green one!

 Thanks Degers I do appreciate the wholel Pleo RB photo , though I would like to know are there going to be any other colors available or just this? I don't remember when we voted if this was even one of the color choices, I would love to see any other color variation other than green, such as blue, red, brown, tan, with green perhaps. With as many Pleos as I already have, this is not much of a difference except for the yellow undertones and of course the eyes. Please post any other color choices, or at least if you can't post a photos, can you tell us IF THERE ARE ANY OTHER COLORS that are going to be made available? This will help determine just how much I want a pleo Rb and how much I am willing to pay. 
                                     Are there any other members out there who are wanting other color choices too? Thanks again for your posting the photos.
