Thanks Degers I do appreciate the wholel Pleo RB photo , though I would like to know are there going to be any other colors available or just this? I don't remember when we voted if this was even one of the color choices, I would love to see any other color variation other than green, such as blue, red, brown, tan, with green perhaps. With as many Pleos as I already have, this is not much of a difference except for the yellow undertones and of course the eyes. Please post any other color choices, or at least if you can't post a photos, can you tell us IF THERE ARE ANY OTHER COLORS that are going to be made available? This will help determine just how much I want a pleo Rb and how much I am willing to pay. 
                                     Are there any other members out there who are wanting other color choices too? Thanks again for your posting the photos.

Well, I'll spill a little bit of the info to tide you over for the weekend . . .

The reason for the cape being a generic brown is that Pleo RB isn't a consistent color.   The basic color will still be the green on top, brown on the bottom, but the specific shades of green will vary from pleo to pleo.  The assembly line is set up so that the paint colors will be slightly different on each pleo, plus the eye color will also vary (I believe they said there were about ten different eye shades), resulting in no two pleos looking identical.  Therefore a pleo cape with a specific color pattern on it wouldn't match any specific pleo.  The pattern will be the same, but the shades will vary.  One pleo may be darker or lighter than another, brighter or duller.  Two Pleo RBs standing next to each other will be easy to tell apart, but to the untrained eye, two pleos on either side of a room will still look just alike.

The pattern is also just slightly different enough that a pleo owner can tell a Pleo RB from a regular pleo,

One bit of news is that degers did have a nice phone call with Derek Dotson of Innvo Labs where Derek tells us all about the new Pleo RB and what all we can expect.   The good news is Derek wants us to share the whole call with everyone!  All the details!  Everything you ever wanted to know about Pleo RB!   . . .   The bad news is, I'm gonna make you wait through the weekend before I post it!

I'm perfectly happy with the different shades of green Pleo rb as proposed and the ten different eye colours.  The pink and blue were just a step too far for my personal taste.

 Alright I guess I mised the part about all the different shades of green and I knew the eye colors were vaired, so I can understand that, I guess that means the winning colors on the voting was green with yellow and they have gone one step further with different shades, whicih is good as even two appaloosas or two black cats, still have variations. I hope the eys colors are very very different and it sounds like they will be. I did not and do not want a blue or pink China Version Pleo RB , to me that is more like a child's toy, but maybe that is what the Chinese market wants which is fine, it is Fanatasy as far as I ma concerned, and that would be like having a bright Red Cat or a green Dog, just does not happne in nature in that exact shade, except perhaps fish and an occasional lizard..?

It wasn't. I think they were Red, Blue, Green and Gray or Green and darker Green.

I agree that the blue and pink ones for the china market don't look very realistic but I think fluorescent yellow is just as unrealistic!    A green pleo rb would have been great but so far the only green ones we have seen are not RB.  So unless there are some better shades of green that we have not yet seen I think realistic was not the look they have decided to go for.  It looks to me like they are broadening the market to attract the smaller children.  It is a shame there is such a limited supply though as this would have made the perfect xmas present for all those little children.  So far I'm leaning towards the pink as the easiest to look at as at least the two shades of pink don't clash with each other unlike the hot pink on the blue and the fluorescent yellow on the green.
Looking forward to more pictures with much hope to be shown some shades of "green" not yellow that look more realistic.  Would love to see a herd of the little guys each with different shades all standing together so we can see just what they mean about different shades of green. 
In the end I am going to buy one no matter what color they give me but really hoping that mine looks cool!
Oh and I also would have liked to see some different color options available, my suggestion is autumn leaf colors, this would be more realistic as these guys would have been living in the leaf litter so it would make for great camouflage .

I E-mailed the official web site and they got back to me a few days ago. And they said that the 2010 Pleo will cost in or around the same price as the older Pleo.

If the Pleo Rb are going to cost, " about the same cost as the current Pleos"  I just dont see how they can have such alimited amount of stock? they made it souond like the componeents that fo into Pleo RB are expensive and that is one reason there is going to be a Limited amount of them being made, at least this Holiday season? When the original Ugobe Pleos came out there were a lot o fthem, and there did ot seem to be a shortage of Innova Lab Pleos, so why the shortage of Pleo RB if the price is only " about the same as the Old Pleos"? Something just does not sound right that Pleo RB can be the same price with all these improvements,and still not have a increase in price?

               And regarding the color choices that we voted on back in January or so of this year, if green and yellow were not one of the options, then why did they bother asking us What we wanted and voted on? Is it cheaper to make the colors green and yellow, or is there some sort of scientific study to back up the color choices they have made that says this is the most popular color for the general population? Aslo are the Pleo RB going to come pre installed with the 2:.0 operating system or something else? I also emailed PleoWorld recently but expect it won't be till this comming  week till I hear from them. It seems their site still has some bugs and it is hard to even log in during all this change they are going through. Does anyone know if you can use Paypal on PleoWorld when paying for ay of their products?
                                   Well, majority doesn't allways rule and that seems to be the case with the color choices for Pleo RB, but at least they made up for it with all the other changes which I  appluad them for. Well done indeed.. like the Rolling Stones song says, " You can't allways get what you want, you can try sometimes, but you get what you NEED!"

The Pleo RB is yes more Yellow as how Green hope very that the People from Innvo Labs a Pleo RB in Green make, I have seen that the Pleo RB too in blue and Pink are.  Me like Green better how itself it for a Dino is and hope too very that he in Germany too in Green buyable is. Or?

It will be wonderful if the new pleos only cost about the same as the old ones did. I still can't wait to own one no matter what the colors are.  I really hope they release them for us to buy soon.   In the mean time more pictures and even some video footage would be great.

The company which makes a memory chip that is used in all Pleos has stopped making that particular chip.  This means that to use a new chip the Pleos have to be slightly redesigned to accomodate the new chip.  There is a limited stock of the old chip, that is the reason.

There is a definite difference in the colour scheme somewhere. I can't quite put my finger on it cause I don't have my pleo near me to look at, but yeah and it looks brilliant!

I can't wait until the Pleo RB is released!  This will be my first Pleo and it is as much a gift for me as it will be for my son for Christmas!!  Can't wait!!!

Awesome that it doesn't have those lines across the eyes that you can see on Ugobe Pleos' eyes when they close!  That was a bit off-putting in aesthetics.

Looks like the same pleo to me just in a different position.  Very cute when sleeping  but still very yellow.

Still no email to order Pleo RB    I doubt they work on weekends so if we don't hear tomorrow then I guess it will be some time next month?

 I also still have not heard from Pleoworld, though they did acknowledge that they received my questions about Pleo RB on the 23'rd, ( I had questions about how I would be able to pay for him) They said they would answer shortly, but no word yet. Does anyone else still have trouble signing into their account? I have tryed all the user names and passwords I can think of, but nothing works, and I do not want to sign in all over again, fearing it will put me at the bottom of the mailing list for Pleo RB! Hope to hear from them soon, Looks like it may be November before we hear about ordering Pleo RB.

I'd just like to know when we will be able to buy one?  I have been really looking forward to getting one this month and have waited patiently along with the rest of you but now it is almost the end of the month and we've reached the weekend and still no opportunity to buy pleo rb.    Feeling a little sad.  Beginning to wonder if they will be available for purchase this year at all?
