The new Innvo Labs Pleo wll be available as of 10.10.09. They have improved skin and paint, an improved battery charger. It will be available on the Pleoworld.com web store for $349.

Derek said that they would have plenty of extra batteries available on the 10th, and that extra chargers would be available with the second shipment (due in early November).

Today is 10.10.09 and the new website at pleoworld.com is having some last minuet issues. Pleoworld tells me that they are now planning to golive on Monday 10.12.09.

You will be able to order the improved battery chargers online, and they should ship in November.

Also, they are exploring possibly making available some new skin like coverings that can be added by customers who have Pleos where the paint has rubbed off.

Goodness only knows when they will be available here, whether I will be able to order from Pleo World or whether they will continue to be sold by Harvey Normans... and of course the cost is going to be an issue. The Australia dollar pushes the cost up.

I doubt very much that I will able to afford one this year

They guys at Pleoworld.com tell me the Pleos are there, but they are having problems with their online ordering system. As soon as they get that fixed, the new Pleoworld with the new store with the Pleos, Batteries, Battery Chargers, etc.. will launch. When will it be? They keep telling me it will all be up soon, but I am not going to pass along any more possible dates because the previous dates they gave me came and went... I think we will all just have to wait and see.

Hi all, Im very excited that I have just purchased my first Pleo (ended up getting a new old version out of the States), been reading all the forums and has created a lot of interest. I have been hanging out for the new Pleo to be avaliable in NZ, and Innvo Labs has just confirmed that it should be avaliable to be shiped to NZ after 20 Oct (will have to look at getting a playmate for Becky in the future!).
Has anyone got any suggestions for improving battery life?
For now I just have to wait til baby becky turns up!

Aww congrats on your Pleo

Tips for best battery life:
Never recharge a battery unless it is fully drained (ie Pleo shuts down and goes to sleep)
Always fully recharge the battery before using (Don't just charge it for an hour then start using it again)
And if the battery hasn't charged for 3 1/2 to 4 hours then just take it off, let it cool down for a bit if it is warm and then charge again.
