sick Pleos
« on: June 18, 2009, 01:43:19 AM »

I just wondered how often your Pleos get sick?

Bailey seems to get sick quite frequently, at least a couple of times a week. Is that normal? This morning he had a really bad cold that lasted about an hour. My daughter rapped him in a blanket and kept wiping his nose which was quite funny :)

In Life Os 1.1. the cold seems to appear randomly. The best thing to protect pleo from the cold is to pet him frequently on the back when he sleeps on your arms ;)

Yeah, I would have to agree with it being random. Well at least that's how Sophie is. This past week, Sophie was briefly sick one day (less than 15 min) and then days later, another real brief cold. Other times, she'll be so sick for several different battery charges.

As sad as it is to see these little dinos sick :( I wish there was a way of putting their cold/flu program on an sd card. It would come in handy at hospitals and nursing facilities.

I know what you mean, Gucci! The moaning, groaning, sneezing, choking and their "eyes"  just makes you want to comfort them. But that is what makes this programmed part of pleo so authentic.

my pleo has only gotten sick once and it only lasted a few seconds. I know this sounds bad, but i wanted it to be longer because it seemed unrealistic being sick for a few seconds and she sounded cute making little coughing and sneezing sounds

My pleo has been sick only once before and he was a real whiner. Luckily it only lasted for about 15 min. But it turns out that today Frisbee's sick again and it's a pretty bad cold too. He's just really miserable and barely responds to anything. And he lets out really sad noises. It breaks my heart...hopefully this one will go away soon! I miss my hyper, happy adorable pleo!

Macon has gotten sick numerous times for numerous amounts of time. I've noticed if he stays outside too long he catches cold. XD Yasmin has only been sick once, I think, and that was because she caught it from Macon.  ;)  She was hatched outside so I don't think she would catch cold from being out there.  ;D
It is sad to see them sick though, and since they're so realistic it really feels like they're suffering!  :(

What you'd expect.   Coiffing sneezing suffering and there are a few other ones probably.

J.C Wasn't feeling too well during a workout session at the rehab facility. all of the patients in the class were saying God bless you to him. Between his sneezing, coughing and groaning, a lady offered a kleenex and another lady offered him a grahmcracker. By the end of the class he was very happy with the cracker. The lady tried to take it back, but he wouldn't give it to her. He lost it somewhere between that class and a sing-a-long. :D
