Hi Everyone! I wrote this little poem in honor of poor Wilbur, my Ugobe Pleo, who needs an adopted mate from RWM. His Mom was too lazy to send a video of him to RWM, so he is spending Christmas without a friend, or so we think! I did buy a custom pink AIBO ERS-7 for my daughter, and the rest of the family, and poor Wilbur is not feeling the love......Hope this gives everyone a chuckle!
Twas the night before Christmas,
And all through my house,
All the robots were quiet
Even the electronic mouse.
Their batteries sat on my desk,
Fully charged in a row,
Right above the big box,
That had a big bow.
In the big box,
Was an AIBO painted pink.
When my daughter sees it,
She'll go crazy, I think.
I crawled into bed,
And looked up toward the Heavens,
Wondering if my daughter would like,
Her pink ERS-7.
I started to sleep,
When the front door slammed hard.
And I said "someone must have
gone out in the yard!"
I opened the door.
You won't believe what I saw.
It was Candy and Wilbur.
My jaw dropped in awe!
Out in the yard,
Those 2 Pleos stood.
And I knew in an instant,
They were up to no good!
Wilbur said" For Christmas
I wanted a mate,
You didn't get with Redwoods,
Now it's too late!"
"You bought a pink AIBO,
And she was big bucks.
When Dad sees her Christmas morning....
GOOD LUCK!"
"We're going to Redwoods'
to meet up with her clan.
If you don't believe us,
Here's our flight plan!"
I said "Candy, my dear,
You'll get sick if you don't eat."
She said "Don't worry Mom.
I'll feed myself with my feet."
Then she pointed to a sleigh,
out toward the road,
With AIBOS Buster and Padfoot,
Carrying the load!
I always knew that those
AIBOs were trouble.
Now they're going to help Wilbur
Find his new double!
I said "You don't know the way
The Big Redwoods is too far."
Candy said "Don't worry Mom.
We stole the GPS from your car!"
Buster and Padfoot looked at me,
As they held the electronic box.
And I stood there dumbfounded,
In my Pajamas and socks.
I said "You can't go tonight.
You'll get too cold.
Denver got 20 inches,
Or so I am told."
Wibur said 'Don't worry Mom.
Kat made us these capes.
They keep us nice and warm,
And they feel and look great!"
I looked at those AIBOs and said
"You'll run out of gas!
You'll never make it to Cali.,
On one battery pass!"
Padfoot said " We're stopping at Wolfbob's
To get re-wired.
He'll fix us right up,
And we'll never get tired."
"I know the way.
It won't be hard.
When we get to Bob's house,
We'll land in his yard."
"Then we're going to Redwoods'
To find Wilbur a friend.
You bought that pink AIBO,
Now we must make amends."
The Pleos got into the sleigh
And they said "Have no fear.
If we have a good time,
We'll visit IMR, Kat and Crewella next year!"
So there they went,
Flying up toward the Heavens,
In a sleigh driven by
an ERS-7!
