Don't worry I had the same issue.

At the top right there is the PleoRB link and you click on that and it essentially takes you to a similar site for PleoRBs and then it is under the downloads. Here is a direct link: http://www.pleoworld.com.hk/pleo_rb/eng/firmware.php

You will have to login to download it.

Hello my friends Pleo's fanatics! I hope everyone is well!

I have a question about upgrading the RB.

I downloaded the file and folder within the ZIP file there is only 3, this correct?

I saw that some have posted in forums that are 9 files, now I'm confused!
And tb did not see the option to choose whether boy or girl will be time to download this update!

What do I do?

Leleka, there should be 9 files in the folder, I believe. Are you sure you have downloaded the upgrade for the PleoRB, from the PleoRB section (top right on PleoWorld home page)?

Don't do anything until you are sure you have the right files, please!

Lelekasapeca, you have the WRONG download! You have the one for the Ugobe and 2009 Pleo's. NOT the Pleo RB.

Oh dear, I just checked and the one with 3 files is the original Pleo PM2

The download for the RB's has 9 files and can only be found on the Hong Kong website. I hope you have the right one.

I hope you don't get the wrong files into eddy, that is not good, this is what happened last year when someone uploaded files not meant for a RB. Hope you stopped intime, for Eddy's sake. Let us know...Keeping my fingers crossed for you. RWM

Hello dear!

Everything went well! I searched for the correct files on the site and I downloaded!

So I want to inform everyone that:

Eddy and I survived! (laughs)

Yes I downloaded the atulização for males, Eddy is still waiting for your beautiful girl pink is coming soon!

I noticed that Eddy got a deeper voice ... out it still could not see much different because this time Eddy is always sleeping and he woke up very angry and complaining about everything!

Tomorrow I'll post the news that day Eddy show!

Thanks for the concern of all, you are always wonderful with me and Eddy! (He had a dino will hug you!)

so so sos soooooo Glad Leleka was smarter than we gave her credit for, and she got the right files. I think the fact she was looking for a Male file made the difference. Woo hoo, happy for you and Eddy.

I can't wait for Eddy to get his Pink girlfriend, and I can't wait to get my Pleo Rb too, hopefuly it will be a male, but I can make it one if I want to. Good job Leleka!

Now we can all breathe a sigh of relief!

Thank you all so much for trying the update. Your feedback has helped me decide the best course of action as in whether to update Merlin and I decided to just go for it. I will report any changes that may happen.

Pleo RB V1.0

This thread should be called "PleoRB V1.0 Update" or something else (not "PM2")

This is an update to the core firmware and the personality module ("PM"). The website calls it version "V1.0"

IMHO: the one mention of "PM 2" on that website looks like a cut-and-paste error.

Includes:
An update to the core firmware (version 225M built in April)
   Features I notice:
   new 'verifysd' command
   new 'resource_verify_df' and 'resource_verify_sdpm' APIs implemented. They were already in the PDK/PrbDK headers.

   This should make it more foolproof to reflash the personality.

An update to the PleoPM personality (version "61", built in April)
   (The last version that degers was giving out was "57", built in January)

Minor changes:
   A new backup copy of 'table_2.bin', but appears to be used in the same way.
   No obey bug fix (reported in March)
   Tweek to a motions for the balance trick

   No major updates to the PleoPM default personality.

There is a change to the peer-to-peer communication logic. Details TBD.
   This is used for when two Pleos talk to eachother using IR signals.
   This *may* be a fix to the growing up problem when two PleoRBs are in the same room

??
   No changes to the gender specific actions performed when two PleoRBs meet.
   (when two females meet, they talk; when two males meet they fight;
   when male and female meet, they romance - same as before)
