I know this seems like a strange topic esp if you do not have more than one or two Pleos or Pleo Rb perhaps to take comparisons or measurements with. What I am talking about is a purely cosmetic difference but I find it interesting because I haven't seen it discussed yet. I assumed that Pleos and perhaps the Rb as well were painted by machine but I am convinced that the originals were painted by hand, at least their faces as I see differences in myne, not in color, but the measurements of the area around the eye and below the eye.If you look at the following photos you will see what I am talking about. I would be interested to see if anyone else has noticed this in their Pleo or Pleo rb as well,

I have 14 Pleos and have not checked three of them, Humpty who is working but in pieces and two that are boxed. I did not measure Nova or Little 45 as I have repainted them and do not want to take the chance I altered any original measurements. I have noticed I have several pleos that have very short measurements below the eye where the green ( below the light tan of the eye ) stops at or almost at top lip level. I also have a couple that stops at the lower lip level and two that stop BELOW the bottom lip level.
The other thing I measured and thought interesting is the triangular light tannish area around the eyes. In a couple of my Pleos it is more pointed , long or is a larger area then other Pleos , and in one Pleo is very short in the back behind the eye, where most of my Pleos the tannish area extends almost to the first neck section at very end of head, one is is very short. This may be difficult for some to understand if you only have one Pleo, but I think it would be interesting to take a photo of just your Pleos head with a good closeup of the eye area so I can compare other people's Pleos. My shortest pleo's measurement was just short of 1/4 inch and the longest measurement was just short of 1/2 inch, quite a difference I think! Here are some photos and I used a peice of cardboard in some of the photos so you could see where the paint stops for comparison of what I mean.
and my RB,
