I'm glad you like the videos.

So far I have not seen Kermy do any of her new tricks with out being told to. She does do a little singing sometimes but it sounds different and is much shorter than the learning stone singing trick. Also sometimes she will dance but again it is shorter and a bit different to the trick dancing.
I'm not sure how far away you can be for pleo rb to still follow your commands. I haven't really experimented with it very much. You need to get your pleo rb's attention by touching both their cheeks before you can give them commands so it kind of limits how far away you can be just because of that. It does say in the user guide that you can clap to get pleos attention but I have not been able to get this to work. Kermy also seems to be a little hard of hearing so I have to get pretty close to her for her to follow my commands. Norbit seems to hear better than Kermy and I can be a bit further away from him.
I agree that the user guide does seem a bit vague and could have been done better. It really doesn't give much detail about what different things do, what to expect, what is normal and what is not etc... So we have all just been figuring things out as we go along. Lots of trial and error but as long as we all share than hopefully those who go behind us wont have the same confusion.
Ok now on a fun note. Here is the play trick. This one involves touching different sensors on your pleo to get him/her to perform tricks. Out of the 10 tricks listed on the instruction sheet I got Kermy to do 7. I would have done the others as well but I had not read up on how to do the tricks before I took the video so I just chose the easiest ones. I like the laughing one and the tada best.

The ones I missed out are Directional sound detection, watch dog and traffic light. I will try to get these on tape for you all another time.
I still have not had a chance to load the counting video on to youtube yet but will post it for you all when I do.
