again i know this is being asked time after time but it would be nice if we were giving a specific date of when innova are going to start releasing inside video footage etc of Pleo Reborn to us ? We are all ready for that now i think

this can only be a good thing and also will be nice to know how much we will need to purchase reborn, and if Pleo rb is only going to be available from their website is another question ??

lol gucci, I didn't say you couldn't set the clock, I was just saying that most animals have a day-night sort of tiring relationship.

I certainly take fault though, for not remembering that there are diurnal AND nocturnal animals.

Hmmm . . . maybe if Pleo RB had pouches in it's cheeks like a hamster, you could store the leaf and accessories in its mouth . . . .

I love the idea

It means Gucci that if you have your Pleo on all evening, just like a puppy or kitten they will become sleepy after a while

I'm sure that it will be simple enough to adjust to suit, but I think it adds a wonderful sense of realism which I will be happy to have.

Don't judge it until you see it though Gucci, I'm sure it won't be as bad as you think

im liking the sound of these updates so far. catbug has been pretty much unused for over a year now, i let my boyfriends niece adopt him, so at least he gets some play

i think my main problem with pleo was limited AI, i could look past cosmetic issues, looks arent everything

learning stones seems interesting. and the fact that the pleos will have to have a new life OS, means i can dream of having something more complex

if pleo really does improve much more in the brains department, i may have a catbug II.

As Pirpintine says, the cosmetic issues I can live with, but the skin actually wearing and getting holes does worry me, 'tis true.

yep its like people bond with their Pleo's and so when they start getting holes and paint starts wearing off that can be quite heart breaking for some and especially the people that buy pleo for a substitute as a pet. At least we are told the pleo reborn will come with the pleo cape so this will help a bit. I guess if we dont pet pleo's head so much he will be fine

What i do is kinda tap the areas where the sensors are instead of stroking to minimise paint loss

I too like the idea of the Pleo Cape which kind of suggest to me that they have not improved the skin much,so they are compensating for it by trying to solve the issue with a Pleo cape, which is a good idea.Some people may not want to dress their pleo in clothes and try fro a more natural look, so when the skin is bad, it is upsetting and some may quit playing or interacting with Pleo. I still think that Pleo Rb will be released in time for the holidays, ( Christmas 2010). If not they are missing a large part of the monetary market. If it comes out after the Holidays, I would be surprised , but I will get one when they come out , unless the price jumps up to something like $500.00. I c an not afford that, improvement or not, I would have to wait for one to show up on eBay, and they will at some point, it is just being patient.

As I said, I don't object to the new clock, I just won't use it. My lot have had to get used to 'noon' being at midnight sometimes - I don't think it affects them much .........

so far we know they have took away all the buttons underneath and added just 1 button under the skin , they have hidden the sd card slot in the battery department and gave pleo rb a better battery , clock in foot , and the learning stones... .

Just curious to know if pleo has been improved on how he moves and neck and tail etc?

How much it going to cost you to get the ers 111 out of customs Crewella ?

Well, still a lot of questions, mainly from barrettgazzy, but I'm not going to answer them just yet. As much as it pains me, I'm going to keep you all in suspense, to a degree.

For now, something you will all love to see. Pleo RB with his new tug of war toy. Pleo rb knows that this toy is for tug of war, so whenever this goes in his mouth you'll get to play.

Cheers for the Pic Degers i like the new tug of war toy ( more accessories ) , i take it there will still be a leaf for feeding ?

Was studying the pic of the new tug toy and just wanted to know, is it the stone end that goes into pleo's mouth or the string ? as i was thinking Pleo prob could not get a good grip on the string ? i take it the stone on the string also has 1 of these special chips inside

About the colour , i would not get too worried about that just yet as i bet they are still working on that or deciding what to do about colour ? i am hoping for a colour that does not make pleo look like a childs toy so a more natural dino colour i hope

Degers, I love the photos, not crazy about the color but I do love the eyes, I do have a question and I am sure some other members are thinking somewhere in the back of their minds.....when they had the contest back in January or Feb. about voting for the new color, are you saying by the photos here, that this is the color that won? I dont' honestly remember this being one of the colors and I hope there are still more color choices than this.

This color is not bad, but I do think there were better color choices that we voted on, and just wondering if the color voting meant anything or if they just decided to go with their own color choices. I do like the eyes , and from what I understand, there are going to be different eye colors, which I do applaud.
I also do like the idea of the tug of war toy, so it is more real that Pleo RB will automatically know it is " tug of war " time. Thank you for the little tidbits you are giving us little by little
