Hello :) Pleo's are cute little critters aren't they :) We do have some other people from Africa although I'm not sure on their exact locations. Welcome to the forum :)

Thanks guys, great forum you have right here.

Well Pedo... lol... is i think one of the latest models of Pleo.... bought him in January this year, and from what I understand, he was imported in December 2009 into SA.

What i do want to know, is how come not many people know about Pleo. I went to a toys r us recently and they were like wth is that thing? thats when pleo started showing off, and they called all their staff at the store to come see him perform..lol

Innvos really needs to advertise for pleo. It's great that you could take Pedo to ToysRus! Sounds like pleo has some more fans....  :D

Hi Sher1 and Pedo. Welcome to becoming a pleo parent. So glad you took Pedo with you. It's so much fun in sharing these little dinos. :)

we were just messing around, so we asked the salesmen if they have any other "life-form" dinos... and they were like what the hell are you on about mate? then they literally showed us like lego type things... haha..

so we switched him on and he started his cooing, etc..

you guys have no idea how many people ask us if he is real....hahahahahha ;D... i mean..really now... :P

but nothing annoys me more than when ppl refer to him as a robot....grrrrrrrrrrrrr.... HE IS A LIFEFORM FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!! >:D

*High Fives fellow lifeform fan*
You got it!
Honestly, I am undoubtedly a die-hard pleo fan. I may be a little biased, but seriously. YES they are lifeforms, not just your average, everyday robot!

hell yeah... the other day the gf was flying somewhere so she was taking pedo with... and now airport staff are always iffy with electronics... so she explained to them its a "pet"... then she switched him on and he started "performing"...lol...and all the guards were so taken aback, i wonder how ppl snuck thru without anyone noticing cos of Pedo...lol

recently, whenever there are ppl around and you want him to "perform", he wakes up, looks around, coo's a bit, then falls off the sleep...lol... spoilt bugger...

i have been toying with installing some software iv read about but im too afraid it would make him a mere computer program and take away his essence... :(
