My Pleo is dead (MotorController not configured?)
« on: December 03, 2009, 12:20:20 PM »

Hello everyone!

I have read trough this forum and others but cant find the solution on my own.

First I thought about the battery problem but
when I installed dino-mite  i get connection there and my batterys (got 2) seems fine

Today I bought a transcend 2gb sd card (formatted to fat32) but pleo cant find it in dinomite and nothing happends when I turn him on with the sd card with downgrade patch on

Could it be that i need another sd card or is there som serious troble with my pleo?

when I try the windows xp upgrade it says i got 1.1 installed

these are my stats in dino-mite

I have no idea what any of that means :P But is your Pleo doing absolutely nothing? No sound, twitching anything at all that suggest there's life in there somewhere? And when did your Pleo stop working, or has it never worked?

The click suggests that something is trying to work. Perhaps the tech support at Pleo World would be able to offer more help?

http://andrey.mikhalchuk.com/2008/09/23/how-did-i-bricked-pleo-and-returned-it-back-to-life.html

Is there some way of deleting the files from camera, audio in dino-mite

ls: ---rw-x    25740 audio1.wav
ls: ---rw-x     2732 pm_drives

It looks like you have been using Dino-MITE incorrectly and have gummed up your onboard flash emory a bit!

If you want to remove those files you will need to run the following commands

access 3
rm camera1.bmp
rm audio1.wav

Your filelist looks pretty normal.  Nothing else you should delete really.

No idea what has happened to your pleo.
