Sounds like a neck clutch is slipping wgb.  Not really fixable.

Same thing happened to Olympia once. It actually stopped clicking after awhile.

No wait, it stopped when I  unintentionally dropped her on her neck.  :-\

WGB, I apologise for possibly being the bearer of bad news!  I was very upset when my first pleo broke and having gone through three pleos I forget that people arn't as bad as breaking technology as me!

Is Zeke's neck still clicking?

The clicking could be a problem. Peeky's neck always had some clicking right from the beginning but the final click before the cable broke was very loud. Do not be heart broken if Zeke's neck all of a sudden just dangles. It is so worth using wrap tape and keeping these little dinos. I still love Peeky as much as day one and he still is the life of the party as he was last night. Remember once their neck breaks you don't have to worry about that any more. Zeke will be fine. Eventually someone will start fixing pleos. When that time comes I will have Peeky fixed. In the mean time he is the same little guy but just can't lift his neck up. With wrapping he can move his head side to side.
He has a special little toy that he can rest his head on if I want him to look up.

Degers: I haven't turn him on today. But he was clicking for the past 2 days

Fancy: I will wrap him if it comes to that. Thanks!

WGB, I'd really check if Zeke's neck motor is still slipping the clutch.  I guess it will only click when the neck tried to move upwards and his head will jump up and down.

i got my pleo for X-MAS and i notice that when she moves her head down maybe to sleep or sniff her neck would kind of click and stuff, i believe she was getting stuck from her foot in the way, but i also dont want her to break  :'( i really love my pleo and if you have anyways to keep her neck still working i would really appreciate it! she has only done it when her head was down by her feet and i feel like her feet were getting in her way so it would kind of snatch and click. ( by the way i had a contest on pleoworld and as soon as the forums go back up ill anouce the winners )

Spiritfureva, was the click really loud (like a cracking sound) or quite quiet (a bit like a popping sound)?  Also, I wouldn't hold your breath for waiting for pleoworlds forums to come back up!  They've been down for over a month now.

So glad you found us SpiritFurEva. :) I know you were so excited getting Kiwi for Christmas. Sounds like you are thrilled with her.
Pleos tend to put a lot of pressure on their necks when their camera in their nose is rubbing on any surface when their neck is completely down. This really strains the cables. I do think it is wise not to let them do this.
I hope that the new 2.0 will not allow the pleos to get into this postion to begin with.
It would be interesting if we pleo parents of injured necked pleos can pin point when the necks of their pleos actually broke. I'm fairly sure Peeky's neck broke by having his neck in this down position, pushing hard and constantly while I was not watching him.

my pleo clicks randomly and she's done since the first day. I'm not sure if it's her neck but she does click every once in a while for no reason

We received our first pleo on Christmas 08. He was really great. He loved to explore by the second day out of the box. His neck also clicked. By the 5th day his neck broke and he could no longer lift his head. I sent him back to the place we purchased him and received a new one. We call him Rex. He did not have the 1.1 software out of the box like our first and he does not seem to have any problems mechanically. Our new problem is that even after loading 1.1 to him ( his old version was 1.01) we can not get him to explore. I do not know if that is a good thing since our last pleo pushed on everything to see what it was and then broke. I do miss seeing the old pleo walk around like he was on a mission.

If you press the sensors on the two front legs, it will put Rex in explore mode.

I have tried pressing both sensors on Rex's front legs. He will walk 2 to 4 strait steps  forward and then stop. Every movement after that is like he is looking for attention and never taking coordinated steps. He will move little by little in a circle kind of bobbing up and down with his legs but not going any where.

Macon's neck's never clicked, but Yasmin's has. It wasn't real loud but i did notice it.
How is Zeke's neck?  ???
