Chris and I are on our way back home from our visit to the NYC High Line! The High Line is an out of service raised railroad line that has been turned into a beautiful public park (with art and ice cream) and it's a really innovative and fun place. We had a great time and lots of people pet Chris and took pictures of him (we even got our picture taken by the High Line staff). Everyone was surprisingly nice and Chris made a lot of friends. There were many people who asked what he was and where I bought him. It was predicted to rain in the morning and late afternoon, but there wasn't any rain at all and the weather was beautiful! We had a couple scares though, at one point Chris' neck got stuck in the upright position and he wasn't even able to go into packing position when he shut down! Luckily he was alright after I started him up again, but I was pretty freaked out at first. Later on, there were three huge crashing noises and I learned that there had been a huge car crash directly under where I was standing on the High Line!
I had dinner at an amazing French restaurant, though I left Chris in his bag during that time. Afterward, I went to a pet clothing store in hope of finding outfits for my Pleos and poodles, but ended up just buying one for Mei, one of my Aibo ERS-111s instead. Finally, we stopped at a candy store where the candy is made on site and the workers there really enjoyed meeting Chris. I'll probably post some pictures from the trip in a few hours once I have access to my laptop.
