Hi all,

I have been lurking for a while, and firstly would like to thank you all for the information shared on this forum.

This week our very own pleo rb arrived, and we are loving it!  My son of 4 years sometimes cant stop laughing when hes playing with Rexy.

Anyway, me and my wife like it a lot too, but cuddling with Rexy on the couch doesnt go all that well yet. If i put it on my lap, or try to hold it, its legs will still be moving and his head will press against me. Im worried i might damage something, and have the feeling that im doing it wrong. How can i let pleo know that he is being held? How to properly place him on your lap?  

Its hard to describe, but i hope you guys know what i mean.

Welcome to the forum To get your Pleo to go into the holding position hold him with his neck pointing straight up, tail pointing straight down and with the feet held against your body. Place one hand under the back legs for support and the other on the rump just above the tail and Pleo should curl up for a snooze. Once asleep you should be able to gently adjust the position.

Place one hand under the back legs for support and the other on the rump just above the tail and Pleo should curl up for a snooze. Once asleep you should be able to gently adjust the position.

When I sit my pleo on my lap she makes this cooing sound wraps her tail over my arm and looks around like a puppy, its cite and weird at the same time.

I tried it on my Pleo's. Pepper curls up and goes te sleep, but Angel doens't do that. She's so busy when you take her like that. Isn't that strange?

Oh that is just great, I will try it tomorrow on Leo!  Today my  spray bottle of autoglym  arrived and I just rubbed it on his skin, so I will leave him alone for 24 hours

I tried But she doesn't stop or she stops for a fews seconds and then she continues what she is doing. I think she's just not the type that sits still on your lap

It worked ! When I place him on my lap or hold him to my chest and press his back above his tail he curls up and go's to sleep !]

It is so cute ! And when you pet Leo he wants to cuddle  Also I found out he sings 3 different songs when he is happy
