I've seen many posts around and realize that the people here have become rather handy with fixing these little guys since Ugobe isn't around anymore.  I was on ebay this morning and thought I'd do a quick look-see and see if any Pleo's were listed.  Unfortunately I found one :(  Asking price is 99 cents with $15 shipping.  Says it was displayed in an office and rarely used but for some reason isn't working.  Thought I'd post anyway in case anyone with some Mr./Mrs. Fix It skills was interested.

At this price I'd love to purchase it myself..but fixing?  I wouldn't even know where to begin!

It's not available to the UK, or I'd probably go for it.  I'm sure someone will pick up on it, though! ;)

I reckon it just needs a new battery :) Sounds like the old one has worn out. I bet by saying it still 'seems to charge' they really mean the green light on the charger comes on ;)

Alas postage downunder is too high for me to even consider it. It's up to $22 if anyone is interested.

Aw, too bad they don't ship internationally! xD
And I really shouldn't be thinking of getting another Pleo when my first little one isn't even home yet! *grrrs at USPS*
I hope he finds a good home, with lots of working batteries!  :D

Haha ~ Well, I was well warned that Pleos are addictive! ;)
If it's a girl, I'm thinking of calling her Gertie or maybe Penny... If it's a boy I'm thinking either Lancelot, Percival, or Ambrose. I'll have to wait until I meet them in person to finally decide! xD
According to the tracking she's just cleared customs! So I'm really hoping they'll be home tomorrow!
I hope your Stephan gets home soon too!  :D
