I don't think the eyes match with the coloring around the eye, I think they are both determined randomly. I have seen many pleos with amber/orange eyes (like my pleo) and they all seem to have different coloring around their eyes. Also, I love the pleos with the purple eyes! :)

Thanks, Aibo7m3! I'm proud of my little purple-eyed pleo. Latrine's Juels also has purple eyes but I think she said they were a little lighter than Ryu's.
