my pleo is dieing and i want a new one(2010) but i would rather not get the 2009 one so i was just wondering if anyone has a update on a release date?

i mean the one coming out this year that is suppose to come when it is called , and my poor pleo is getting bad first his front leg just quit moving i can touch its censor no responce and the gears arent jammed then a day later it will lift its front leg and move its back legs back and its head will go to the side and it seams to go to sleep but when you touch it the head will move and it will call but then right back to sleep ( i have the new lipo batt in it )so if i put a sd card in it, it will work fine with the program on the card

If Pleo is running fine of an SD card then that suggests you have a software problem not a hardware problem. It may be worthwhile doing the downgrade (reset) available here under the software thread. It will remove your Pleo's personality though.

well the first restore didnt work but the other one did every thing works but the left front leg , so thanks a lot

so now when the new pelo comes out an i get one ,my new pelo will have some one to show him the ropes

I guess your Pleo must have a fault with that leg but at least they are moving again

The fault may repair itself or it may not, have you tried manually moving it in case it is a stuck gear?

at one time before now the leg was stuck after a fall but i moved it back and it was ok , but now no mater were it is it wont move or the senor wont do anything ether

I would guess then that one of the wires has become broken or disconnected, its a shame but there isn't anything you could do about it short of major Pleo home surgery

Hi is there any word on the 2010 model yet ? i have been searching every where trying to find news on the new 2010 pleo but nothing at all , im sure that if there is going to be a new pleo model released that we are looking at this happening more likely in 2011 now

Hi , I have said all along that I am convinced that the manufactures are pretty smart and are keeping the lip sealed on the 2010 Model for release at Christmas season, a few more months. That is the Ultimate time for campaigns, adds and of course buying in time for holidays. I would be willing to wager a bet it is intime for Christmas 2010!

Yes, knowing that this will likely be an item people will ask for the holidays, the only smart thing form them to do is release it closer to that time, when the "OOO LOOK NEW OBJECT" syndrome is still in people. and keeping us Pleo fans waiting will just make us want it more. Hopefully the holidays will come sooner cause i know a bunch of people are just dieing to get thier hands on the new pleo

This is what Toy makers and Marketers do every Holiday season,and it allways keeps people wondering what the new Hot toys are going to be, and then Pleo enthusiasts that participated in the " voting for a New Pleo color', just have to wait like everyone else to see the final new improved Pleo Product. I think I will just wait for after the holidays when parents that buy a Pleo for a child under the age of 8 , find the child is bored, because Pleo can not be " controlled," no remote controll, and then put the Pleo on the ebay market for a more deserving person, and they can recoup some of their loss, for a present that a child does not really want. This is how I got Nova last Christamas at a great reduced price of only $85.00 plus $20.00 or less shipping, because the 8 year old child did not want her, and it sat on a shelf for almost a year ( Christmas 2008- Christmas 2009) I still find it interesting that I have never found a Innova Pleo on the ebay market, they all seem to be Ugobe?

It will be interesting what the mark up price may be for these new 2010 Pleos, right before the 2001 New Year.

lets just hope a lot of our Wants for the newer pleo have been answered and put into production on the newer model pleo im willing to pay more if there have been significant improvements . i am still not convinced it will be released in time for xmas 2010 but only time will tell

Kind of " off the subject", but while tallking about 2010 Models, does anyone ever wonder whey there are no or very few Innova 2009 Model Pleos out there listed on ebay? Maybe I am wrong, ( probably am..

) but all I ever see are Ugobe Model Pleos on ebay, and I know they were taken over by Innova and if People buy directly from Pleoworld, that is what they are getting, It does not matter if it is a Ugobe or an Innova Model Pleo, eventually someone decides they do not want their Pleo anymore and decide to sell it since it is a expensive investment,Has anyone EVER COME ACROSS AN INNOVA PLEO ON SALE EBAY OR ANY OTHER AUCTION SIGHT? Just curious to know... %)I still think come October we should see the 2010 Pleo Models comming out in time for the Holiday season, otherwise they are really missing the opportunity that all toymakers and product makers have, their greatest selling market is at the Holiday time, We shouldn't have much longer to wait to see if the New Pleos make the " boat ", or they miss it.
