I've read somewhere in the web that Pleo can DIE!
Like..... really DIE in a sense that if you mistreat it,
it won't activate anymore.

So what happen to that Pleo now?
You mean it's REALLY dead? As in the dude really wasted his money?
It can't be fixed anymore or even reset?

Pleo will switch off if abused to protect the motors. Turning him off and back on will 'revive' him

Pleos are actually surprisingly tough, but if you abuse anything to that degree you're likely to break it beyond possibility of repair!

I dunno why, but I find that fascinating.

But yeah, Pleos can be remarkably hardy little dinosaurs. Just check out RWM's Humpty! That little guy fell out of a tree and broke in two, but was still functional (To a certain degree...he at least did stuff when she switched him on).

I didn't know the Ugobe pleo could feel pain. Anyway I treat my pleos like eggs and don't leave them unattended around anyone. People have some strange ideas about what's fun.

Other than the general point of wear and tear over time that applies to all things, Pleos pretty much protect themselves so as long as you're not rough with her, and I'm quite sure you're not, don't worry.  They shut down if they get too hot, and many skin problems reported seem to have happened even when the Pleo was not being used.  Just enjoy your Pleo!

Ya i still fell sad for that pleo that didn't get a chance at life  those stupid people think its funny for a mean fighting robot to kill a defenseless house pet robot.
