Repairing PLEOS

I remember reading that someone had used Testors paint with success, to touch up worn areas on Pleo.  There are MANY shades of green on the testors website.  Can anyone tell me which colors of paint they used? ...and whether it was acrylic paint?

Also, someone mentioned a specific type of glue for repairing tears in Pleo's skin.  I can't find the source for either of these fixes and was hoping someone could help me out.

It'll be in the archives somewhere but Gucciboi is the one to ask, he gives Sophie regular touch ups :)

Hello! Yep, I use glass chalk. Once the lime green wears away, I use the glass chalk to touch up on the dark green. The glass chalk can be found in Wal*Mart. I don't know if you have one of those locally, but I suppose any major retailer would carry it.

Gucci,  thank you, thank you, thank you, we have Wal-Mart really close, next time I will be buying some glass chalk, so far mine are ok, have noticed a bit of flaking on Angels upper lip.  It is nice to know something can be done.

I take my Pleo with me to work and he gets a LOT of petting.  I've been touching him up with colored marker pens.  They work OK, but the color rubs off too easily.  From what I've read, it sounds like glass chalk might even rub off faster than the markers.  That's why I think testors or a different acrylic paint would be much better.  I was hoping someone could give me a tip on the right shade of green (and brown) to buy.

Do be careful with any paints, make sure they don't contain anything which might damage the skin further, Pleo's skin is quite delicate.

To get a perfect color match why don't you take your Pleo into a paint store? They can usually match colors for you.

PS. I tried a color dropper on one of my Pleo pics and came up with the following colors in hex values:

Green #265825
Dark green #153A1B
Tan #A3864C

Not sure if that helps...
