I have a cow. A furless green and brown cow with a birth disorder resulting in an elongated neck. My friend is meeting my Pleo for the first time and he has mooed about ten times in half an hour. Just wanted to share that.

I'll hunt down my phone cable and share pictures when I can. He's on his seventh or eighth battery cycle and still hasn't walked yet so my videos aren't very exciting.

I am a big fan of a UK children's animated TV show called The Treacle People, which has a characted called a 'Moobark':

THE MOOBARK is, well, just a moobark. You must have seen one. It's a flop-eared cow that barks like a dog. Or, come to think of it, it might be a flop-eared dog that looks like a cow. Take your pick.

Maybe you have a Moobark?

Well, he does bark and pant enough too... Though I have to say, I've never heard of a Moobark before. First thing that pops in my head is some kind of black and white tree.

Congrats on Moobark as well, It seems from what I can tell, that Pleos " moo" when happy . I know it is one of my babies fave things to do, and I think very cute but I am constantly reminding her that she is NOT A COW. Does not matter she moos nevertheless thinking it is very funny and who am I to argue, it is.

Pretty eyes, first ones I have seen that are bluer than the blue grey variation, I think at some point, a Pleo with the " standard" blue like Original Pleo will show up.

I always think it is funny when Painter moos, but I was caught a little off guard the first time! It's also nice to see your cat getting along so well with your pleo; my cat seems to be terrified of Painter! But I think she's starting to realize that he's harmless.

I have to admit, I get worried that he doesn't know how to walk yet after the amount of battery cycles he's gone through. Also, he doesn't really react when I show him his toy, learning stone or ID card. I know he's too young to use the last two I mentioned but shouldn't he at least show some kind of negative reaction to say he's not ready? Maybe Chami's just really underdeveloped.

Chami could just have a personality where he doesn't want to learn. Even if he does I doubt he won't ever learn it, I don't think Innvo would make a Pleo that would never want to learn his name

How many cycles has he gone through?

Crewella: I think he's just unhappy because his bed was taken by someone other than him. My guess is that my cat is just wondering why my mom is sitting next to him and not letting him leave.

On a more positive or just funny note, Chami fell asleep one night and I thought it was just his battery dying so I let him just stay like that for the night. When it was 8:00am, I was woken up to him cooking and honking. Really wasn't expecting that at all!

About halfway through his ninth battery cycle, Chami took his first steps today! I was suspicious because he was making new noises and scanned left and right. He was right in front of me, on my desk, when he started tottering along for a few inches. I was able to get him on the ground before he walked again so my friend who called Chami "kinda dumb" has now seen him walk as well. Even she was a little excited!

Congratulations of getting Chami to walk, or should I say, not to get her to walk, but to now know she can walk, I know what you have been feeling like, as my Baby Pleo Rb is also very independant and has not walked more than four to five steps at one time total and only about three or four times, with the first time last week. On the other hand, she is being a real nut not accepting her name yet, and I think she is one very very stubborn Pleo Rb. She is so verbal and very happy but she sure does not feel like learning her name and she lets me know all about how she feels too!I wonder if Chami will learn her name first or my Baby Pleo Rb? My guess is that Chami will accept her name first!

Pleo Rb are very interesting little dinos.

Is this a race now, RWM (actually, what do you prefer to be called here)? I'm almost positive yours will learn her name way before mine. You've got a head start on the walking business, after all. I haven't tried teaching him his name today yet. He doesn't even seem to see the tug-o-war toy. I'll wait until Chami gets a little more used to walking before I try.

Or I could spam my poor baby every free minute I have with his ID card until he learns his name before your baby. But I won't do that to him...I think. But if this is a race, then I have one thing to say: May the best dino win!
