Pleo Blog Study
« on: August 06, 2010, 07:58:03 AM »

I found this article on a study of blogging communities based on Pleo blogs.  I've put it in the library, but thought I should mention it here in case people wanted to discuss it.

This is the Google link to the PDF doc:

Great read! Took me a considerable amount of time to read, as this was mid-afternoon for myself. I did thoroughly enjoy reading how people interact with Pleo.

Entertaining find. I started through it, but I'm saving the rest for a later read. Thanks for sharing!

Y'all? Since when did the Brits use 'y'all'? :P LOL I know up here in Yankee Country, they all think I'm a true hick when I go to sayin 'y'all'...

I do wish to have more open dialogue on this study, I am surprised not more of our regulars have not read the article. I know I found it to be a quite enjoyable read. On a side note, we have a library??

Quite awhile ago someone found our plogs. I wonder if they still are around somewhere. I did enjoy reading this article. I remember some of the quotes that were used. There certainly should be a follow up study now.

I confess I did put off reading it, unfortunately I have to read huge slabs of text for university so at the end of the day I don't always want to read more but rather relax with something that doesn't require too much brain power :P I did read it this morning though, it is an interesting and well written article, I'd love it if they revisited the study but of course our plogs disappeared.

Yes a very good read. Do you think the writers are contactable and willing to come on over here for perhaps a quick interview?
