Another incoming cat - Nellie 'da heffalump'
Having lost two cats in as many weeks (to old age and a train) the house was too empty (even with all the Pleos) ...... so in came Nellie, who's 10 and who's elderly owner has gone into care and couldn't keep her. She's a little on the ......erm ..... 'tubby' side - hence the nickname.

So tubby she is almost to big to fit in the bed! So sorry to hear about the train, that must have been horrible

Heheh - that was originally my little Spook's bed (who died aged 17). She was tiny! I miss her, but she lived a long and happy life. Nellie's on a diet 'till she fits it!  Thanks Luna, poor Bosko getting hit by the train was very sad - thankfully the railway workers found him, buried him, and told me later. He was a very daft cat. I miss him too.

She is a gorgeous girl. I am saddened to hear about Bosko, but glad to hear that you have such considerate warm railroad employess who gave your cat a nice burial. It is terrible to see animals just lying by the side of the road, and nobody caring. I don't remember Bosko, how old was he? I sent my condolences for him to you. I love this girls colors and name, very appropriate.

Thanks RWM, it was a lousy couple of weeks for cats - Bosko was the big black fluffy that arrived with Alpha ... when she had one eye.

Nellie is a cutie even if she is a bit on the tubby side How is she getting along with the rest of the gang?

Nellie's pretty shy, so she's still lurking upstairs most of the time, away from the others. She's started coming down for her dinner, though, and she's not feisty, so I'm sure she'll settle in fine.
