This is a picture taken the day we brought the Jack Russells home at about 6 weeks old. The big black old man in the background is Mickie, the mixed breed I bought from the pound and pretended to find in the woods to trick my parents into letting me give him a home.. (hehehe) He has since passed away..
Ben is the puppy on the right, his sister Minnie is the puppy on the left.
This picture was very special because Mickie kind of came down with I guess a sort of elderly dog Alzheimers disease very shortly after and this was one of the last pictures of him while he really had his wits about him.. so, of course, he was protecting the new babies
