I liked this at first and was indecisive about keeping it this way, but thought it too" out there" for mainstream Pleo lovers, so decided to paint over the green areas, and once I did that, the whole thing changed and I thought it just went downhill from there, thel paint too thick, no reptile looking textrue anymore, and I hated it, and started peeling skin, washing and scrubbing the Pleo to get rid of the whoel thing.  :( :o This is the kind of thing Artists do, they go beserk, get inspired, and then lose it or get happy, one extreme to the other I think....depends on the time of day and if you have had your coffee or not, I really got upset and more upset over this cause I started out really liking it, and the paints just were not as forgiving as inks, Almost too embarrased to show anyone, but it is for others to learn by and expereince the same ups and downs .

Nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about - I can see why you liked those colours, and it's really helpful that you've posted all about what went wrong.  I agree on how thick and 'claggy' the paint looks though - it's not the same if you can't see the skin texture, is it?

Thank you, RWM.  I'll try latex paints too at the weekend and report back. :)

Thanks to Crewella for understanding about temperment and painting frustration, and for Latrine for liking the color look anyway, I did like it, just not the texture was wrong.
