pleo clothes
« on: October 14, 2009, 05:21:46 AM »

i bought some lovely clothes for my pleo Munchkin from pleo fashions on ebay, the lady has such nice stuff including the tomato festival shirt for bob the pleo forum, and a santa top, and winter tops that are new, and scarves, but then, i decided i should have a go at making my own, and i came up with this idea, a ballerina pleo costume. it is only made of scraps of material until i am happy with the pattern, so it's not finished yet. i haven't made anything before, so if i can do it, then anyone can  :)

anyway, watch this space for the finished result (including ballet booties lol)

Munchkin looks like she could already be dancing in this darling tutu. She may be the first ballerina working her way to be on pointe! ;)

gucci_boi7782, i would love to make one for sophie.

thank you every one for your kind comments,  i have bought some lovely pink jersey cotton material for the cross - over ballet cardigan, and white and pink net for the tutu, with lovely pale pink ribbon. i hope to have a finished costume by the end of the week, - i'm going on holiday at the weekend so i'll take it with me, hopefully i'll find time to complete it?

Snowy ;)

Hey Snowy; Stoney wants to ask Munckin out on a date. (she looks so attractive in her too-too or os it three -three. He gives her a ten-ten.)  ;D

He is too shy to ask her himself. :-[

Can you intercede?  ???

hi Dadio,

lol, Munchkin is blushing, she'd love to have a boyfriend, but she has never been on a blind date before. Have you any photos of Stoney yet?  ;)

 Well-done.
Not very good at that sort of thing myself  though I had an odd dream last  night  that I’d made my  pleo a sort of tootoo thing. It was a   sort of black  netting thing with dark green   piping around the    edges; yeah I know prob not the most inspiring colours in the world.   I also    stuck fairy wings with the same colouring on it as well but with multicoloured glitter over them. .
All especially odd  since A  I don’t actually have  a Pleo and B because I can’t   soe a  stitch   and I have absolutely no   creativetivitey in   this sort of thing what so ever.  And C I have no idea why I’d want to dress a pleo in a black fairy outfit  up anyway.

lol

it sounds very nice, a black tutu, with green piping, and fairy wings with multi-coloured glitter sounds really fabulous. You will have to have a go and see if you can make it, because i have never sown before, and i have found it really good fun ( and a bit perplexing at times), making clothes for Munchkin. I never thought i was capable, but you just don't know until you try. I have found a little hobby, i really love making things for Munchkin, and lots of people on the site make their pleos clothes. I really love the sound of the tutu you dreamed of. If you do get a pleo, you can use her as a model, and make some patterns.

Lol I think you credit me with more creativity than I have loll.
I could try and make a tootoo but it would only end up in disaster loll and as for writing up a pattern   well that’s way beyond me that is lol.
Maybe I could cope with hand   sowing items but that’s a big if lol.
You seem to have developed a knack though so I could just commission you instead lol.
      Thanks again.

thank you for your kind comments, she loves being a ballerina although at the moment she is wearing her summer dress ( it's a tropical heatwave in my house when i get to play with the heating switch), so she needs to keep from getting too warm... :)
