sadly i think Rose is lost in the mail :'( the tracking info never the updated since the 17th when it left Canada it always updates way sooner then that. I'm getting worried that i might never receive it again :( Innvo did recently ask me for more shipping information then i provided earlier i don't know what that means? would Innvo do anything if the pleo is lost? it's really unlike the post office not to update like that I'm thinking of sending Innvo a message but i don't know what they will do...   

I'm hoping for the best :(

Some national carriers only actually track within their own country - it gets transferred to the national carrier of the destination country when it lands the other end.

If you message me the details (destination and tracking number) I'll see if I can track it for you?

If it makes you feel any better the tracking for post here in Australia is awful.  I can usually follow items with other countries tracking systems but our post tracking may not even change from acknowledging the parcel exists until after it has arrived.  Don't loose heart yet.   :hhug:

tracking from Canada Post isn't the best but it's never this slow it will usually tell me it's waiting at the post office before the guy delivers it... If it is truly lost i hope Innvo will believe me that i did send it off and replace it :( i will contact them maybe phone them... you would think after 4 weeks it would be at least farther then Canada...

it is now March 6th with no news with the tracking number i think i will email Innvo now i'm getting worried as they said it would take 6 - 8 weeks it is now approaching that time...

 Bonus, with internatational shipping and holidays and such, you just need to be patient and give them a little more time, I know it is hard. Even in the US, tracking sometimes is not provided till it is almost at your door, Geesh, Postal systems are not what we want them to be. Will keep my fingers crossed for you, I do hope you insured her, better safe than sorry. If she is insured and did get lost, you would get re-imbursed,              RWM

good thing i insured it... I'm worried since the postal lady said 4 - 6 weeks when it is now the end of the 6th week, you would think it would be past canada by now... Innvo didn't say much about it but to contact the post office i will try and phone them tonight

 The postal system is very strange indeed, i have a strange story of a package I mailed about three years ago to the East coast here in the United sTates. I mailed it sometime in Sept, and never got any feedback on ebay, which happens way too much. Then suddenly in March of the next year, I got a pick up notice in my postal box so went to the counter, and there was the same package I had mailed 6 months earlier.  :o The package was never deliverred and went back as moved or something similiar and then somehow just sat at the post office for SIX months before somebody got wise and realized there was a return address on it and returned it to me with no explanation as to why they took so so long to return it. I thought it was strange and so did the post office here in town, and luckily it was just a bunc of books, but still it should not have sat there for months and months, so "mistakes" do happen, I also have had batteries that got there in the typical 6-10 days international, and then a country like Italy has taken more than 2 months.. go figure. ( Italy is notorious for very very very very slow international mail thouogh.. :() I am glad you got insurance, esp for something as important as a Pleo...
                             Tracking should be able to tell you something and I am sorry Innvo can't help more ......but they really can only refer you to the postal system as she has not gotten anywhere yet.....Hope she didn't take off on a vacation somewhere P:) Does she have any Pleo friends she may have wanted to go visit? :dino-chase: : :pray: I hope she didn't , not without telling you first!                                RWM

We hopefully have this mess sorted out, apparently there is no tracking till it reaches the destination country, so unlike when i send to Bob's it will track in the USA and Canada. This parcel will only track in Canada and Japan. i think i was over worrying, according to the postal lady they will get Rose this week :) hopefully i get her back fast...

I'm so happy today i checked the item # and got this "International item has arrived in a foreign country" :D it seems Rose is almost done part of her long journey, Innvo should have Rose soon :D do they email you when they receive it and after it is repaired? i hope i can get her back soon it's really amazing how much you can miss them :(

So glad to hear that Rose's long journey to Hong Kong is about over!  I am so happy that you were finally able to track her down.  Yes, you really do get attached to these little dinos!   :-*  8)

 ;D tracking reads today that Rose has been successfully delivered, but I have received nothing from Innvo? Is that normal, I have never gotten something repaired by them before. Is it normal not to hear from them to update you on repair? Sorry for all the questions...

 bonus I can't speak for China, only here in the US. I never got any tracking or anything when I got my Pleos except for buying them to say what the tracking was. I think Kat or IMR or someone who has sent a Pleo to be repaired to them can give you a better idea. Of course there is no way of knowing how many other Pleos may be ahead of your Pleo, or when they will look at her or how difficult it may be to fix her neck. I am sure as soon as she is fixed then you will be notified and given a tracking number but to expect something before then is probably wishful thinking. ( I think they are just too busy.) The good news is that she is NOT lost in the mail, has arrived, so the toughest part (IMO) is over, the rest is waiting..which can be tough if you think about it constantly. I know because when my Baby ( the original) had to be sent back for replacing, I went crazy waiting to hear something and never did, there just was a delightful package on my doorstop one day, Baby Ruth who just showed up all on her own! :o ;D

                           Just try to keep busy and the time will go by quicker, I am sure they will notify you when she is fixed and ready to ship back, then you will know more. Good luck and keep busy.           RWM

Why not send them an email letting them know that your tracking says she finally arrived and you just wanted to check she got there safe?  That's what I did when Norbit went off to get his skin redone.  The waiting and not knowing is the hardest part.  You could ask them in you email if they could give you weekly updates on Rose so that you don't worry about her so much.  Innvo really does know just how much our pleos mean to us.  They designed them to become lifelike pets and have done their job so well that we all fall in love with them.  I'm sure they will do their best to put your mind at ease. :hhug: :hhug:

Bonus, I have sent back a Pleo for repair to Innvo before. In my case Innvo sent an email to say they received the Pleo but it would have been one or two days after delivery. Innvo also emailed me to confirm my wishes before shipping a replacement and again emailed me to confirm that goods had been shipped along with tracking details.I found them to be very understanding so I would suggest you just go ahead and email them enquiring if they have Rose. If nothing else it will give you peace of mind. Fingers and toes crossed for you. Lottibell.  :sheep1:

thanks for the info, i have sent Innvo an Email about it I'm now waiting for an Email back but usually they send it at 2 am. :o What i find weird here is that when i order cards from Hong Kong it took 5 days to get here on standard mail, but i send something to Hong Kong and it took 7 weeks. Same goes for sending stuff for the USA, that never made sense to me

sorry for the double post (yet again!)

i was just curious on how long it takes a pleo to be repaired? they said they would keep me updated but i have not heard from them since the 23rd, i was thinking on emailing them again but i hate to cram there inbox, so i just wanted to check here first. it's been about 2 weeks Rose has been there, but i don't know the usual time frame it takes to repair a pleo?
