The real Bob turns four in a couple of weeks, the 2012 calendars will be out in the next couple of weeks, and the new book will be out as well. With all that going on, we really should celebrate. And since this is also the time people should be sending out their Christmas cards, it just seemed the best way to celebrate is by giving stuff away, which means yet another contest! And it only seemed appropriate to tie this contest into what's going on by having the contest be Christmas cards.

So, here the deal: You get to design a Christmas card that you'll send to all your friends here on the forums by creating some cute or funny picture involving a pleo and Christmas (photoshopping/editing the pictures IS allowed this time!) and post the picture here in this topic along with your Christmas greeting. That way you get to share your Christmas card/greeting with everyone else here and in two week (December 1st) we'll close the competition (you can still post additional cards here if you want), and announce the winner on Bob's birthday (December 5th).

To match the contest to what's going on, the prize will be the proof copy of the new "A Bob the Pleo Christmas"

And because we've had such a poor turnout for some of the other competitions, we're making this one MANDATORY!!! Anyone not entering will be flogged! or was it egg nogged? I get those two confused.

Nooo don't flog me! Eeeewwww and egg nog is so... slimy! Not sure which one of those I'd rather endure. Lol! Seriously though, I want to try this but I can't do any pictures. Could I just write a short poem that would fit into a card instead or would that be considered special treatment?

Ya hoo, Usually I am allways in the comptetitions but have been very poor for lots of reasons on the last two, and I don't mind a flogging, it may help my crumbling back. Actually I think I need seventeen little Pleos and Pleo Rb to walk on my back and that would be the cure.

Sounds like a great idea and lots of fun. I love things like this, and even though I am not good with photoshop editing and such,I am sure I can still come up with something cute and what a great way to celebrate with our friends here on the forums, around the globe! Count me in at least 17 ways and Happy Birthday to Bob!

Talon I think if you write your poem that would be great and someone here can insert a photo of one of more of your Pleos if you give them the permission to do so. Think about it. Take care.

It is supposed to say: This little Pleo didn't know there was a union for hanging Holiday ornaments on the tree! Merry Christmas! I am not good at Photoshop, and was trying to edit the text there, but thought I would let it just be this way for now. I have more to do, this is just to get me going. This is a photo I took of Major Tom last year with help hanging an ornament on the tree and thought it was funny! RWM and the Pleo township of the redwoods.

Great Job, everyone! You are certainly putting me in the Christmas spirit! IMR, those are some lucky Pleos! I sure wish it were summer here! Kat, that picture is adorable! It made me laugh so hard, I don't want to admit it, but I fell out of my chair!

I think you need 4 more pleos...that way, you could have the "miniature sleigh and 8 tiny reindeer!"

My muse has left the building. I should've thought of my design first and then said I was willing to post. Now I've got writer's block! My brain is working like Bob's. I'm hoping when my cousin drags out all her ornaments and things, something will come to mind. So far, all I've had is mental snow like the static you see on the television screne when the cable is out.
