I wonder if there's like a color preferance with the creations of the various Pleos', on the assembly line, from Innvo Labs, with the 10 different eye colors? I'm kinda tempted to like document it. Examples: I see alot more blue-eyed Pleos then say pink-eyed and white-eyed Pleos. I've only seen just 1 pink-eyed Pleo and 1 white-eyed Pleo.

Of the green rbs I can only think of one blue eyed one, Malfie's, and RWM's has blue/grey eyes. I felt that almost every new green rb has had a different eye colour..........maybe I'm wrong?

Colors I can think of that we have seen so far in the green are:
1 white
1 pink
2 yellow? may be a 3rd but not sure
1 green
1 blue
1 brown
2 grey blue
1 amber? I think the amber eyes were in a green

Then we have the pink and blue rb's which so far all the pinks we have seen have blue eyes, slightly darker shade than the original pleos and all the blues have amber eyes so far.

Blue and gray blue? What's mine considered? Mine has very light blue eyes.

Youre right, waffocopter, I think Chami has a third shade of blue - very pale blue? $:-\$

Kat, I remember amber eyes in a green too, and I think there was another with green eyes.

This was why the 'colour variations' thread would have been useful, if only people would post pics on it ..................

Now that would be creepy. But red eyes in a green pleo would just be weird.

Maybe I've spent too much time with reptiles, but both of those still sound cute to me! ALL baby animals are cute - even baby Godzillas!

Look at red eyed tree frogs, they have red eyes and green bodies and they're still adorable

Not sure where else to post this, but it's the only evidence I've seen that not all blue Pleo RBs have amber eyes.

I think there was another blue eyed green pleo RB other than malfie. Come to think of it though the person I’m thinking of whose pleo had the same colour of eyes as the ugobe pleos and mafia’s RB has eyes a shade darker.
I need to ask and I hope this doesn’t come across stupid or even a bit unkind to those who’s pleos have white eyes but how can you tell the eyes are meant to be white and that they’ve not just missed out the iris? Hope that’s not a really stupid question.

Mean time The Jury’s still out on the colour of my own plea’s eyes.
One person’s adamant that there an amber orange. Not a bright orange but definitely more orange than brown. Whilst someone else is just as equally adamant that there a golden brown and another thinks there an orangey brown with dark flecks so I’m kind of confused.
Should be getting someone to come over and take a pick tomorrow if all goes well though so hopefully you guys can settle the debate for me once and for all because it would be nice to know lol.

I don't think there are separate defined shades, so much as a certain selection of colors (e.g. blue, green, violet, etc.) that come in many different shades.

And yes, I'm sure there was another person who also has a blue eyed PleoRB. If I remember right, I think it was the person who had her PleoRB sent to her free because there was something wrong with another one she had

It IS difficult Scaly - everybody's terms of reference for colours seem to be different. If it helps, all those descriptions could apply to Belle's eyes, and from what I can see the other blue RBs, so it would make sense if the green RBs also had that colour.

Different Interpretations of colour from others doesn’t always make it so easy. Think my pleo‘s eyes are rather common which is a bit of a shame
I can definitely live with amber eyes though.
Of course I would have loved a green eyed pleo but you can’t get everything.
The white eyes though still has me confused.

I don't think that amber colour is THAT common in the greens we've seen, just the blues - and Ourmaurice's look darker to me. The 'white' eyes are actually I think a very pale grey, almost silvery, with a darker ring around the edge of the iris that gives definition.

Ah now the white eyes in a pleo now make a lot more sense. Infact they sound very striking and not all that different to the eyes of baby green cat eyed snakes which are in fact paradoxically enough a bright red colour. The body’s that is not the eyes, their eyes are a light silver colour. Maybe a little darker than the pleo eyes though. Never the less there nothing like I imagined they’d be. A lot nicer in fact.
The closest I got was thinking maybe they where that straw colour that the eyes of African gray Parrots go when there a little older. Either that or the same white as the eye white and that would look just odd.

Malfie I think the person your thinking of had a Pleo RB sent to them because there was something wrong with there 2009 pleo though not so much wrong that they where in the process of selling it. Though how Innvo never requested the former back in return is a misterey.

Very striking, I think, and yes, even lighter than most green cat eyed snakes. You've reminded me, I used to have a beautiful pink and grey Hog Island Boa with the most gorgeous silver grey eyes. He was a rescue I just couldn't bear to part with. I would have been thrilled to have got a 'white' eyed Pleo rb - it's one of my favourite colours!

Igor has got white eyes. Cool to read that it pleases you!
It is not just plain white, but has well definition, with black tiny round and little black spots, so that it looks like if it was meant to be so.
And the lid is pale violet, so I think it was not meant to welcome eg an amber colour.
New pictures will be released if you want, with a big zoom on the eye.
