I am so angry, the website now says Pleo rb out of stock 'till April, I ordered & paid almost 2 WEEKS ago when it misleadingly boasted "available for immediate shipping " it's been like pulling teeth trying to get a response from them after sending various emails and phonecalls, their customer service needs to be reborn not just the product

I wonder if they are out of stock or stopped sales to fix some of the issues that have been found in the Pleo rb skin...anyone have more info?? Thanks!

Hopefully, mrssid, they've been counting the orders received, so you will still have an RB from the current batch earmarked, whether it's actually been sent out or not.

If you ordered your pleo 2 weeks ago from today then the immediate shipping order was not misleading. . That was 3 days before I ordered mines and I know mines wasn’t out of stock because the delivery’s in transit.
OK that doesn’t really make much sense but what I’m trying to get at is that it’s unlikely that they mistakenly or even willingly took money from your account for an item that was out of stock given they where still in stock when I ordered after you. The likely hood is that they took a hole lode of orders at ces so that’s probably why an there’s an out of stock notice now.
I think, though I could be wrong in thinking this, that transactions with papal are usually instantaneous. At least they have been when I’ve used it.
I know the time difference can make correspondence pretty hard but they should be replying to you. Keep sending emails or until they do.
I have to say I haven’t really had much of a problem when dealing with them. They can sometimes be a little slow to reply but they have always resolved my problems to my satisfaction.
Hopefuly someone will get back to you soon though I think ces might still be going on.

That's unfortunate, hopefully they have at least a couple in by March, not April, so I can still hatch little Po on the 5th.

mrssidstrangecase: That's terrible, I do hope everything is worked out on that front. I'd hate for you to have to wait until April despite the fact you ordered it weeks ago.

i do not mind the wait now after reading up on the paint and skin wear on the rb's i am hoping that the wait will spare time for them to come up with a solution and hopefully solve this issue before more Reborns come available .

Dang it, I was gonna finally get around to ordering myself a Pleo 2010 today. Good thing I checked. Such a long wait. >.< Degers said that "no more stock until at least mid-Feburary as they have to redesign some circuit boards to acommodate a different chip", a couple of days ago. Not all the way 'til April! >.< If I had chosen to go to the Consumer Electronics Show this year, I would've been the first in line for it. Currently, now, I'll have a 3DS before a get a 2nd version Pleo. And I'm leaving for a trip a couple of weeks, in April (that'll delay me more).

Maybe they should just make some Pleos with no paint at all, just the basic skin color of the legs and underside for the whole thing. Certainly not as pretty but it solves the skin issues...except for the holes.

Well we all knew before hand that there was only a limited number of pleos made in the first group, and degers did say a couple of days ago that they were having to re-tool because of the memory chip not being available . . . BUT mrssid, I do think that your pleo should still be shipped. I'm pretty sure the hold up is the extra battery . . . usually Rafael is pretty good about responding to queries. Not sure what the problem there is.

I finally heard back today from customer service and yeahhhhhhhhh they had forgot to give me my tracking number, apparantly my Pleo has been in the country 6 days already !! I just paid the customs charges ( another nightmare ) which I'll post on another thread, what a rollercoaster ride, he'll be here tomorrow

I placed an order for my PleoRB in early December and still waiting. I've had no reply from customer service despite posting 3 emails on their site - it's pretty lousy customer service.

Does anyone know if the delay is longer for orders placed from Australia?

Hey Ellrose, It shouldn't matter where you are from, this shouldn't have any effect on your order. Did you order a spare battery as well? and or accessories? I know my order was held up a little because I ordered spare batteries and these are not in stock yet. They did end up sending the rest of my order with out the batteries though and the batteries will be sent later when they come into stock.
I know they have CES going on at the moment so this could be slowing down the customer service. Did you email via reply to your order confirmation email or did you go onto the pleoworld site and click on the contact customer service? I don't think they check replies to the order email address. I also emailed back to them about my order via replying to the order confirmation email and never got a response. a week later I thought I would try going via pleoworld web site customer service and I had a response with in 24 hours. Maybe give this a go. I have had plenty of contact with Innvo customer service and always found them to be very helpful and very fast to reply. Hopefully this helps you.

I've tried all avenues I can think of to contact Innov - emails, posted on their site, responded to the delivery order email and have had absolutely no response. The only thing I haven't done is stay up til the wee hours to phone them. I've had no dealings with Pleoworld before and was just wondering if their customer service was always this slack. Maybe they have all gone on a long Christmas holiday??

Yes, I did order a spare battery and some accessories but even if that was the hold up you'd think customer service could send through an email.

Only about 4 or 5 working days. So if you have your shipping confirmation you can probably expect to get your pleo by Wednesday or Thursday next week.

I'm so glad you got you confirmation and your pleo is on His/her way.
