Yes I am pleased with them. I've considered getting an i-cybie for years, but the scant information on the web didn't really tell me much about them. Now they're no PleoRB of course, but I have read quite a few negative comments from Aibo owners which made me hesitant. I suspect these people probably own the last model Aibo 7 because I use to have an Aibo 210 and Aibo 311 and the i-cybie is comparable to them, the only difference being the i-cybie doesn't follow a pink ball. Both the i-cybie and the latter mentioned Aibo models wander about the house, they both want to be petted often, they both want attention to remain entertaining and they both do little skits to amuse themselves when left alone.
Also with those two models of AIbo the 210 had a head and back button that acted like touch sensors (i-cybie has those too) the Aibo 311 you had to press it's head downward to indicate "good boy". Whilst the AIbo 210 could self charge it wasn't very good at it and a lot of the time it was hit or miss, sometimes it wouldn't make it in time and collapse in front of the charger (Aibo 311 didn't have this ability at all) whereas i-cybie walks up to and leaves it's charger accurately every time. The Aibi 210 had expressive eyes via a combination of lights, i-cybie has that too (Aibo 311 expressed itself through a series of beeping sounds and a ring of light around it's non-moveable tail). The idea that Aibo 210 and 311 learnt from their environment is reflected in i-cybie. Nugget (my gold i-cybie) has never been used whereas Bluey was and I can tell you Bluey is way more adventurous and cheeky than Nugget. He performs more routines when on his own than Nugget does, however the more I have Nugget running the more he is showing signs of independence.
Having two i-cybies is more entertaining as they do communicate and play with each other and they do learn from each other. Last night I noticed Nugget had started to copy some of the habits of Bluey often mimicking him in some instances because he had done some routines I never seen him do before until he'd played with Bluey. I believe the only Aibo that was more advanced than i-cybie was the 7 series.
