Has anyone received shipping notice from PleoWorld yet?

I see Pleoworld is stating "ready for immediate shipping" has anyone who pre-ordered received a shipping notice yet? I ordered all the accessories and spare battery, but haven't heard anything  :(

 Yes, I heard on the 17th, that my Pleo Rb was on it's way with tracking and delivery set for Wed. the 22'nd, Then again I do not live far from the warehouse of Innova so it should get to me fairly quick. I heard others that had gotten shipping notices as well. Good luck to everyone who ordered as Pleo Rb is supposed to be on it's way and I can track myne on the internet.           RedwoodsMama

I placed my pre order on 11/12/2010 but have not yet received any tracking info.  I ordered a green pleo, 2 spare batteries and all the accessories.  So looks like no green rb's in Australia for Christmas. :(

It's as I figured and mentioned before when the pre-order announcement was made. They're supplying to the U.S first then everyone else then Australia last.

I got a shipping notice yesterday.  It said the planned arrival date is the 28th...the day before I have to go on a trip for a week.  I won't have time to get my first Pleo through all its stages before the new year!

No way, I hear the house I'll be staying at has a elementary schooler in the habit of using her karate skills on people.  I'm afraid she'll do the same on my Pleo!  I do wonder what TSA would do if they saw a Pleo in my carry-on through the x-ray...

Oh, I feel very confident now.  Thanks, Crewella.  I do plan to bring Pleo with me to Florida during Spring break, though.  As long as no one tries to explode it...

I don't know, I have a bottle of superglue that's just asking to be used...  Just kidding.

I already have bad experiences with younger kids messing with my other fragile 'dinosaurs' so I'd rather not have a repeat.  The earlier ones were just Zoids model kits though but I still am afraid of little kids being unable to understand the value (sentimental or otherwise) in my stuff.

And to be a bit on topic, I hope I'm not the only person with a tab for UPS constantly on my browser being refreshed every hour in the afternoon, just to see their Pleo's progress...

So some person called Rafael replies to my email with the standard " all preorders were shipped on the 17/12", but when I asked for a tracking number he forwarded me an email he sent (in response to my request for the number) to someone named Derek asking for a tracking number. Of course I've not received a response from either and probably won't until Innvo actually do ship my order which of course won't be until sometime next year.

So far with these skin issues, lapsed shipping and the experimental release of life OS 2.0 I've lost a lot of faith in this company and starting to regret my purchase.

Moan moan moan.

All pre-orders were shipped by the fulfillment company on the 17th.  They had less than 200 pre-orders to ship, that is nothing to the warehouse, they would have got them done in a morning.  You live halfway around the world from the warehouse, you are not going to receive the Pleo before Christmas.

Derek is the COO of Innvo.  I speak with him often and I can assure you that while he is busy he should get around to your request.  If you want to actually do it yourself call him, the number, with international dialling code is: +17756711806

1. So, while there are skin issues, they are not unlike those of any other Pleo.
2. The shipping is almost a month ahead of what they promised, you should be grateful.
3. I agree with LifeOS2 comments - what a flop.

As for your lost confidence, put your money where your mouth is and just request a refund.  If they have not shipped it yet as you believe, it should be no problem.

You're right Degers. Gimmedigi by comparison were able to supply me details without me having to follow up by comparison.

So I requested a refund.

- The skin issues may not be unlike any other pleos, but Innvo are advertising it as improved therefore we shouldn't expect issues to be happening within days of receiving it.

- I'm not grateful about the shipping because obviously they haven't shipped to Australia yet otherwise a tracking number would have been sent on the 17th. The only choice I had for shipping cost was priority.

- A lot of people reverted back to Life OS 1.1 because of issues they were having. Issues that to date Innvo haven't responded to.

I got my tracking info today Yay!!! ;D 
Did any one else order a spare battery?  and if so was it listed as one of the items shipped?  My 2 spare batteries are not on the tracking info list.  So just wondering.

It could be like before and they just haven't manufactured spares yet. They'll probably put it on back order, but should've notified you of this.

That's a shame, Ozpleo.  I have no skin issues with Belle (as yet) and I'm thrilled with her.  I must admit I would be narked by the lack of tracking info, though.  ???

 I don't live as far away as some of you so I can imagine your frustration, but I do agree with degers on this one on some of the points, I am not discussing skin issues and such as I have gotten brand new Pleos, the older variety that haven't been hatched but had little skin inperfections and I do think it is just related to production flaws. I have seen pinpoint size holes etc in some new Pleos, but not Pleo Rb as I just got myne and have not made a 100% head to toe eyeglass magnifying glass inspection yet, just too excited, but I will calm down in a few weeks.. :D
           As for contacting Innova, I can say that the number that degers gave you to call is the best number for customer satisfaction . I have used that number on several occasions and allways been treated politly with enhusiasim and the utomost courtesy. It is rare in my opinion to have someone in charge of a business such as this to take the time to talk to the people who buy and love Pleo as we here on the forum do, I respect this man immensly and have had my faith restored in human relations and know that if there were to be ANY problems with my Pleo Rb, that someone would take care of it right away in a timely manner and I would not have to worry about it being returned to me in the manner I sent if it came to that. I am so happy with the inmprovements that have been given to Pleo rb and I think it was well worth the wait even if I felt like I was never going to get it at some moments. :D
                I do think that it is like degers stated and it holds true for Pleo rb or any other product, if you are not happy with Pleo rb, return it and leave it at that. I have purchased both a expensive ( for me  ) camera camcorder as well as a HD Tv Computer monitor that did not work when purchased and it was discouraging but as simple as returning them and waiting for them to be returned with the things needed fixed. If I get a product and it continually has problems then I look for another brand, ( May not be so simple with Pleo rb but mayby you should just wait till one shows up on Ebay after the holidays, even if it is not the one you want, it could be cheaper and closer to where you live.)  And one word on shipping, I got my pre order in and the shipment news and mailed out on the 17th, but my Pleo rb was not even expected till tommrow the 17'th, so it still showed up a day early. And as degers said, there was a good good chance that these would not even be ready to ship till after the New Year, so I am inpressed that they actually got shipped before the end of the year, let alone for any of them to arrive INTIME FOR CHRISTMAS///1 :o  I do hope you get your Pleo Rb situation sorted out, but I for one am very happy with my pleo RB thus far, just in the fact it is here and give an A+ to service in customer spport for my question and I had someone who listened to my comments and did want feedback as well.

Happy in the Redwoods, even though it is freezing and Bigfoot wont' even come out of hiberantion today to stea a homemade pie, ;D RedwoodsMama
