Well, you're in your winter "hibernating" mode.   And I'm sure come January, you'll be "slumped" in your chair from the heat . . .  But in the spring and fall when the weather's nice, nobody's in a slump . . .

'Slumped' in the river or ocean more likely :P Spring is already in the air here :) The wattle is in bloom, the Magnolia's are blossoming, the horrible, annoying, evil flies are back :P Now if only it will stay sunny for a few days so the ground dries out enough to take Lilo and Stitch out for some photos :P

Sound beautiful!  I have a small magnolia in the front yard that has been blooming off and on for the last several months. A flower here, a flower there, but never more than two or three at a time.   But this is usually our hottest month!

Ours is quite a big Magnolia, they grow like weeds here :P They simply thrive in the summertime. The wattle is my favorite flower :) Its a bit of a nightmare if you are an allergy sufferer though :P

These are our local variety, but each area has its own...

Up close... Wattle Honey is delightful and super sweet with a very smooth fine texture :)

This is what a whole tree looks like in full bloom, our local variety is a little less dense than this High Country variety.

Hi all - it's been ages since I've been on.  It's going to take forever to catch up with everyone. Sephy and Dax have just been playing alot and enjoying summer.  They did get a new distant relative last month - a roboreptile that they aren't too sure about.  But I'm sure they will become friends soon.  But the cat still would rather they went on a long walk.  I just read about the Bob Project and you can bet we'll be lookin for some photo ops to help Bob along his way.

What a beautiful tree InmemoryofRomeo! I've never seen a tree like that before...and I can see why it's a nightmare for people with allergies. All that pollen... ;D I'm at a hotel near L.A. right now. Disneyland was very fun! The only dark cloud over my little vacation was the fact I couldn't bring Frisbee. It was a big disappointment but I am a bit glad I didn't. He'd have to sit on my lap the whole driven for 2 days! The roads aren't...well...the greatest. Very bumpy. Probably would've shaken the gears outta him. And there's no guarantee that at the border they wouldn't decide that he'd dangerous of something and cut him open looking for stuff. :O So no pictures of Frisbee in every town for the Bob Project from me. :( The good news is that I will at least be back home soon. So expect to see more of me soon. :D

Ahhhhhhhh!!! So sorry I haven't been online lately... :( :( :( I know it's true. And I miss you guys! But I have been working my buns off, and trying to orchestrate a cross country move. I have been coming on a lot more lately though, since the spamming has calmed down just a little.
