You can see how they're planning to try to vary the colours more now - the grey around the eyes seems to be a new touch? Beautiful eyes, oooooooh I hope mine has eyes like that. Anything but blue will do, but those are lovely! Thanks for posting Degers.

To me it looks like some sort of sports team logo character

I was considering asking degers if it was his, because I suspected it, but then I thought I might cause a bit too much of a commotion.... It seems around here, when ideas are started, everyone automatically believes them to be true and then it's accepted as fact. Don't need any of that again!

I love, love, love the new eyes colors... The skin, eh, not so much, but we've only seen two so far so I am definitely reserving judgement. It is super, super nice though to see the variations

Remember we've only seen two yellow variations at the moment.

So I am guessing I didn't miss the release while I slept.....
It is the 1st Dec in sunny old Perth Australia so maybe pleo rb is not being released in November after all.

I'm not a fan of those colors either. But hey, theres always clothes to cover the back up if you happen to get a color you don't like. I like the eyes too, very, very pretty

I've been looking at some videos on you tube of Pleo 2009 and comparing Pleo rb, and it looks like rb seems to be moving a bit fast and a bit smoother... anyone else notice this and your thoughts?

Yep, if you read/listen to this interview with Derek Dotson about Pleo RB it mentions that they've sped up the movements

"In the neck and in the tail, we've increased the motor speed in those two areas. We've basically put improved motors in those areas. What this does.... remember how the tail was kind of slow, and that was always one of John Sosoka's pet peeves, that the tail was too slow, because you get a lot of emotion from the tail. It's fast. The tail, it's a fast wiggler. But the neck and head, it's much faster also. We've made internal improvements to cables and things, so no busted cables. So with the fast camera, and the faster motors, the tracking ability is much improved."

Yep i also am liking the eyes very nice , But the colour well lets be Honest here it kinda looks like the yellow green makes Pleo look like he has faded in the sun compared to the darker green on his head ... Any 1 else think that it just looks a bit odd ?

But i would not complain if i did receive this colour i like it more then the other yellow/green rb colour .

To me it looks like the Pleo RB got some bleach poured on his back

I don't mind what color Pleo RB I get, If I ever do get one I'll be happy about just that

But I think I'd be doing some painting to this one

I agree that so far all the yellow/green rb's have looked a bit odd. I think it is because the head is such a different color to the body. With the pink and blue ones the head is the same color as the body with a contrasting color to highlight pleos markings. I think they would have a much more aesthetically pleasing pleo if they changed the color of the head to match the body or make the body the same dark green as the head and use the yellow to highlight the markings on the body.

If you want a blue one why not contact Josie at Chinatete and order one from her? I know of at least 4 others who have contacted her and are in the process of buying there blue or pink rbs.
