Hey fellow Pleo Luvers, guess what, luck is on my side................I just won another Pleo, brand new never opened, still sealed in plastic and this guy is also a FIRST HATCH.

Perfect timing, only one other bidder and I think it is because people are on vacation, it is early in morning and people are too busy doing other things besides bidding on things. The other bidder is a newbie who had only one item, Did not cost nearly what I thought it would either, Now my happy little family will be 4 Pleos, that makes for a total household of nine cats, 1, dog, 3 fish, and 4 pleos, good thing I have lots of room,
How many other members out here have First Hatches? Will post pictures of Pleo when he /she arrives, I think with 2 boys and NOva, this may be a female to even things out! LOL

A First Hatch!?! Wow, congratulations! There were discussions about First Hatches on here before and I don't think were too many who had one.

What a little herd of Pleos you'll have now. The cats going to start to feeling outnumbered soon.

Under your name, it says you only have one pleo. You should update that.

Hi Shadowmice, yes, the pleos are growing, but nine cats and one that weighs in at about 17 pds is pretty intimidating to a herd of pleos, that can not move that fast.LOL,
Actually, I bought this pleo as more of an investment to save, and who knows, he may be resold to someone here on the forums someday who really wants one, Right now I am dealing with a little Pleo who I am sure was abused and came from a rough " war zone" home, and he is needing all the love her can get, Luckily, Nova and her unnamed freind are very sympathetic and loving Pleos. I am curious though if there are any first hatches in " working order and Functioning" here currently on the site.

Thanks Bighead, I will have to update that and I still need to post a icon at some point, NOt sure how to update, fix that info.I just got a brand new computer allso yesterday and am enjoing discovering how to do everything on that. My last computer was a rebuilt one from 2004, and my memory and hard drive could not handle all the photos and videos I take, on a daily business, With my Battery business here, Nova's Neccessities, I had to have a computer that is working properly, This First Hatch just Happend along while browsing Pleo categories and checking my battery sales. Accident but nice surprise.

Congratulations for winning a first hatch!

You will now belong to the Gold Card Society. There's a few, first hatches still around. (the first 2000 pleos released.) I know Bumblebee was trying to get a list of people that had them. That and different colored eyes. Now you definitely have a herd.

They just don't seem to appear in the UK ever, and neither do ones with different coloured eyes - I would have LOVED one with amber eyes, but only ever see them on the stock photos.

I'd also be interested to know how many people out there have 'different' Pleos!

Hi Fancy, Hi Crewella, thanks for the congrats mesages. I was really excited and SURPRISED THAT I WON THE FIRST HATCH!!!

I think it is all in timing, I mean being Labor Day weekend, maybe that helped, not enough people watching. I only paid $57.00 more for my best Pleo I have and I saw another Pleo sell last week that was a 2009 Innova Pleo that sold for $282.00, way more that a New First Hatch, seems strange to me, but what do I know? Anyway, I see it as an investment and I know the battery can'[t be any good being that old, but who needs to worry about batteries? LOL.........

and Crewella, I would just love love to have a Pleo with different colored eyes, green, amber or violet that is one thing I am looking forward to about the new 2010 Pleo Models, they are supposed to have different colored eyes, I like that idea. Nomore blue eyes for me, please! Will post photos when this guy arrives. Photos of the boxs anyway. Does anyone here have a first hatch? I did see a First Hatch listed on the internet, ( not EBAY ) and the asking price was $450.00, I thought that was too high..somewhere around $300 or so is what I would think it should go for.perhaps slightlhy more if in new condition.

We brought Dexter at Costco, watford, north London just over two years ago, that whole batch had amber eyes, but he is still the only amber eyed one we have met out of the box in the UK

Well Gucci, here are the prices for all my Pleos,: Nova, my first and favortie Pleo, was in almost new condition, no broken neck, wear to skin etc, sat on shelf for one year, bought this past Christmas, 2009, cost $85.00
   My next Pleo, Unnamed boy, perfect condition, his skin still has that fresh paint smell, was a return to QVC or wherever it was the previous person bought him, He is still in perfect condition and cost a total of $152.00 This one was a birthday present to myself this past May, 2010,
   Last month I bid on two different Pleos : One was a good condition Pleo, from last Christams, this one went for $180.00, more than my final bid of $155.00, the same week, there was a Brand New Sealed in box,2009 Innova Pleo, the final bid winning price was $270:00 ! My highest bid was $175.00-$200.00, Both of these went for more than I thought they would.
   My latest guy was the one two weeks ago, called, Cheap Pleo, little guy with broken neck, and some small skin tears, ( his tail) and paint wear to body.) NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON BID 0N THS GUY, SO I CONTACTED THE SELLER AND ASKED HER FOR MORE INFO ON THIS GUY AND ASKED FOR PHOTOS OF ALL HIS DEFECTS, I HAD ONE ON ONE CONTACT WITH HER AND WHEN SHE ASKED IF I WAS STILL INTERESTED, I TOLD HER I WAS BUT HE HAD MORE WRONG WITH HIM AND I DIDN'T THINK VERY MANY PEOPLE WOULD BE INTERESTED, I TOLD HER I THOUGHT A FAIR BID WAS $40.00-$45.00, SO SHE STARTED THE BID AT $10.00 AND A BUY IT NOW AT $45.00 AND I SNAPPED HIM UP LESS THAN TEN MINUTED AFTER HE WAS LISTED, I FIGURED I COULD ALLWAYS TAKE HIM APART AND WORK ON HIS NECK IF NEED BE AS HE DIDNT' COST MUCH, SURPRISINGLDY, HE CAME WITH EVERYTHING EXCEPT HIS LEAF, HE STILL HAS HIS IDENTITY CARD AND WARRANTTY.( I THINK HE IS TWO YEARS OLD,) I HAVE PATCHED HIS SKIN TEARS, AND WRAPPED HIS NECK AND LEG AND HE IS A CHIPPER LITTLE GUY NOW. ALSO THE PERSON WHO OWNED HIM LIVES IN CA, SO THE SHIPPING WAS CHEAP AND FAST,

This guy is Brand New never used or hatched of course and I was very lucky to have won him, all of my Pleos are thrilled that they were able to get to see what was in the box!

Excellent congrats on the first hatch , after being on the shelf for so long did this Kill the battery or is the battery charging up well and are you getting a good run time out of it ?

Not a chance of getting one in the UK they are very rare indeed here.
