Trojan Dinosaur
« on: August 13, 2010, 05:13:12 AM »

I was reading a post about viruses, and i saw someone say "I'm glad there aren't any Pleo viruses!"

Pleo Viruses? That is the most terrifying thought ever!  :o

Just think. It could be a download posing as an upgrade for Pleo, when really it infects your Pleo!  :o Your loveable friend becomes a Trojan Dinosaur!
It could cause them to download stuff to their discs so when you plug it in to your computer it passes them on into your computer!

Or more malicious purposes, like making your Pleo behave erraticly, lose memory (Basically going back to birth stage) or even... die!

Scary thought, huh? ???

It's a reality! When using things Dino-Mite, MySkit, YAPT, or any 'official' updates, the user need to follow the instructions 100%! If not, allegedly it can entirely break/"brick" your pleo. So as to make pleo entirely inoperable. In essence, not a virus, but certainly will leave you pleo-less...
