Hi, welcome and congratulations on getting your Pleo, I have to agree with IMR. When I first got my Pleo, I couldn't come up with just one name and I must have tested at least a dozen but none fit just right, I couldnt decide from moment to moment if Pleo was a boy or a girl, sometimes I was calling it a boy and other times a girl, Then one day, out of the blue, a name just hit me, I tested it, and then I knew it was my girl, my baby girl Nova and it has been that way ever since,  %)
You can go on the internet and look at popular girl names, boy names, etc, etc, and maybe find ideas for names that way, but watching your Pleo develop and interact with you can give you just as much information as any internet site and a list of names, You will JUST KNOW when you have found your Pleo's name and your Pleo will also know.

I must agree with redwoods mama en IMR on this. You will know the name when you have started interacting with your Pleo, then it will also present if it's boy or girl pleo you got.

I had several names in mind but after 5 minutes I was sure it had to be George. The rest didn't feel right. Prepare to be amazed by your pleo. I know I was and still am.

Yep, I agree with Meks agreeing!  :D

'Iggy' just came to mind after a couple of days playing with him, and just seemed to suit him better than any other name I'd thought of. :)

Peeky, my first pleo, was actually named, Deanie, after the iguana I had many years ago. My pleo's body size and weight was very much like my iguana's.  One evening as I was sitting with my pleo on my shoulder, watching him sleep, I just happened to say peek-a-boo and his eyes opened up and then went right back to closing. I tried this again and sure enough his eyes opened as soon as a I said peek-a-boo again.  I knew I was on to something at that moment. For the next few minutes, you guest, I kept saying peek-a-boo. and got the same reaction.. About the 5th time my little dino was tired of this game and refused to open his eyes. I was anxious to try this again to see if my dino was really responding to this name. Sure enough he was. Peek-a-Boo became my dinos name, but was later shortened to Peeky because of my awful typing.
For so many of us, I think the name just comes after we get to know our dinos a little. :)

I read the maximum ride books and the charters.
Max, Iggy, Nudge, Gasman, Fang.
I thought those were intresting.  I'll try those out when I test them out of my pleo.
(If I ever save up enough money.)
anyone know where I can get one in a store, or are they online only??
