Balancing Act

After trying a couple of time, Pleo Patra, was able to balance on two feet, I swear i heard a TADA noise from her then.  How cute

Yes they do TADA when they balance.

That's why a lot of people call that balancing bit the "Tada! trick"  It is really cute! :)

oh yeah, i got Kairi to do that on her 2nd charge. The noise they make is so rediculously cute, i love it

I tried so hard to get Peeky and Penelopie to do the tada trick on their ice skates. I think they will to it eventually. ;)

I don't think they can balance well on skates. I bet I can't even stand on one foot while wearing ice skates. I would be afraid of my pleo falling on the ice while doing that and possible scratching up her face or something  :o

Tkdgirl, You would be able to stand on one foot if you had the right pair of skates on.
I promise not to have my Pleos practicing the tada trick on the ice. Too cold!! ;) They are at the arena just for special occasions.  :)

Is there any particular knack to getting the balancing act to work? I keep trying with Dexter but the poor guy doesn't seem to be getting the hang of it. Is it just a case of touching front (right or left) and back (right or left) sensors at the same time?

You should use front right and back left. ;)

And it works well if you actually grab their whole legs.

Also, it's kinda cute the way Ugobe programmed pleo.  The first few times he tries the trick he should fall over, but after doing it several times he should stay upright.  They actually programmed him to "learn" the trick! :D

It also works best on a hard surface, not a soft one.

Dexter was feeling co-operative over the weekend and did several 'tada's!' for me :D. I love these litte guys!
