Hi !
Just bought a Pleo (called Chibi), and connect the battery on the charger ... after 20 minutes the light went green, but Chibi went asleep very quickly. Is it normal ?
I will try to recharge the battery for 3/4 hour as mentionned on the manual, but once again the light went green very quickly. Anyway I will wait ...

Is battery charged out of the box ?

Both Cammey and Cloeys batterys were not charged wen I got them. 

 Did you get him new?

Back from a concert ... insert the new fully charged battery, and now Chibi after moving few moving felt a sleep for real (means with sound ! great !) ... it is probably normal ! Now I'm waiting he wake up to go te bed ;-) !!!!

News ... but probably bad news ...
I've just turn if off to move it securely, and when I switch it on here the result : he wakes up, moving a bit, then nothing ... it is just like he was blocked ... same thing if I'm turn it off and on again. Here is a video :

Maybe it is a problem related to the battery. This time it has been fully charged ...

Ps : I will try to recharge the battery, maybe it was not properly connected to the charger

The light went green after 35 minutes ... Definitly I think the problem come from the battery ... what do you think ?

I haven't a clue.  Cammey and Cloey have locked up before but when I turned them of and back on there fine so I'm stumped.




  Oh and one more thing wen one of them locks up I will usually comely panic and act fast wen restarting them and I'm usually comforting and cudling right after the restart.

One of my batteries has started doing that, since my other batteries are charging fine (I have three others ) it does suggest a battery issue, I would see if you can get a replacement battery just to be on the safe side So sorry it happened to you though, just when you got your new Pleo

No ... it went green after 30 minutes of charge ...

you're supposed to keep trying to charge it until it has been charging for at least a couple hours (with each little charge added up together) and then put it in pleo. apparently if it is only charged for less than full and you put it in pleo, the battery will remember that and only charge that full every time after. So, if it was only charged for 30 minutes the first time you put it in pleo then it will only charge 30 minutes from then on and will never be able to charge fully. i think you probably need to buy a new battery or deal with only playing with pleo for a few minutes. sorry

If you have time today try putting the battery in Chibi and turn him on. Leave it on for a while and see if there's a response. I have had this happen and I think the battery is thinkings it's charged when indeed it's not. Every once in a while turn Chibi on and then off. Might take a while to get what little charge that is left in the battery out.
Your battery might not be making the correct contact on the charger. Can be tricky to place it correctly.

When Jade was hatched she would fall asleep most of the time. This lasted for about three days. As far as the battery and the charger, two clicks have been mentioned. The first click is when the battery is pushed down in the back side of the charger opposite the Pleo sign and it locks in. Then push down on the front and you should hear another click and the Pleo sign turn red. That click turns on the charger and the battery should be pointing straight up. If it isn't straight up it probably didn't seat right.
