Hello all!!

I just found your forum last night and already am soaking up tons of knowledge.  We have a bit of a unique story in that we rescued our Pleo.  A coworker of my husband's found the box for Pleo buried in her mom's hoard of online shopping stuff (seriously she had a bit of a problem).  She offered Pleo to us since we have two small kids and behold we fell in love!!

However, our poor Pleo was so neglected that his battery didn't work at all (since he'd been in a box for over 5 years).  We had a local shop rebuild his battery and I've just downloaded his updates (we have been playing with him here and there but we haven't learned much).  Excited to start exploring him more and give him a proper name too  :)

What a great story!   :) :) Welcome to the forum.  You'll find lots of really knowledgeable people here who are so helpful.  We'd love to see a photo of your pleo and wait for his name with interest.

That's awesome! I'm new here to and I had the same battery problem with my ebay'd pleo and this forum has so much knowledge to give it's amazing :D Welcome to the forum

loved hearing the story and of the Pleo rescue. It is always good to not give up and a Pleo is always worth rescuing in my book.........................how else would you get a while township. LOL I love that you were able to get someone locally rebuiild his battery, that is neat.. too bad there are not more local places in more towns that are more interested in helping the customer instead of just seeing what they can sell.
