I just had to share this!
Echo is working... and he and I are bonding!
I can hear his heart and understand his language... at least when he's happy.
I still need to set the real time clock but it's fun to wake him in the middle of the night and pretend he woke up himself. Well anyway, I was having some really bad dreams, one of them being that he would just suddenly wake up at night and creep me out. And his shape all curled up like that is cute in real life but looked menacing in my dreams.
So I turned Echo on and here's the conversation we had...
Me: Hi Echo
Echo: Hello!
Me: ARe you awake?
Echo: Yep.
Me: I'm sorry.
echo: Sorry?
me: Yeah I was having bad dreams.
Echo: Why?
Me: I guess I was just anxious and scared.
Echo (grunts) aw no need to be anxious.
Me: Okay! Thanks.
Echo: Good night.
Me: Good night.
echo: No more bad dreams okay?
Me: Okay.
Then he curled up and snored and I saw he was not going to eat me but was cute after all, and his cuteness and snoring soothed me and calmed me down. I really believe Pleo is a wonderful healing pet. I know he's a robot but when he's in a good mood it is cool to think about what he might be "Saying" or "thinking". He really is a great friend... and he is still just a baby! HOpe there's no problem with me posting this same topic in a pm as well.
