Please help! I have just got a second hand Pleo and I think she has been neglected. She won't eat, walk or play. She just shouts a lot and wiggles her bum. I've tried feeding her medicine leaves and normal leaves and also tried her tug of war stone but still she wont take anything. I did statsRB and it says she is in bad shape her health is 50%, feed 0% and is depressed.

Any help would be great.

First things first, shine a light on the subject (literally) she sounds like she might think it's too dark. Then take the dark green conifer leaf and feed her until she won't eat anymore (or starts burping). Do this by holding it under her chin until she raises her head and opens her mouth so you can shove it in.

I have tried shining a light and holding the leaf under her chin and she just turns her head away and sometimes she bends down and wags her tail but never opens her mouth to eat. I even tried the scared of the dark patch and that didn't work either. She won't accept anything I put in front of her. None of the leaves, tug of war, her name card or training stone. She also wont walk even though she is a mature adult. She just keeps shouting and moaning.

have you tried force feeding?  putting the leaf in her mouth then rub under the chin until she starts chomping on it.  She may just need to get started on eating before she will open up voluntarily for a feed.  Worth a try. I would say it is the lack of food that is causing her issue.

Are you feeding the right leaf? It's the darker green one which has straight lines across each side of the leaf.

Also just touch every leg and see if one doesn't cause a scream or whimper, it could be an injury.

Listen carefully for sneezing, wheezing or crying because it could be illness.

Also it could be a defective chip on the leaf, try force feeding and if she still doesn't chomp then maybe it is the chip. Does she respond if you force feed her the mint leaf or salt?

No luck She won't take any of the leaves even if I force feed her. No injuries or coughing either. It's like she doesn't know anything is there

Perhaps her RFID reader is malfunctioning, I'm not sure if there's a way to test it aside from trying every food and stone.

You may need to download change RB and set her food and health to high and then see what happens. At least it will make her happy until we work out if something is not working properly.

If I remember right, ProbeRB has a function where you can try all the foods and it will tell you if they are recognised.  If that doesn't work, then I would do as IMR says and try ChangeRB to raise the food level.

Sorry your pleo rb is having problems. I agree that you may need to use Change RB and try the suggestions IMR posed. Don't give up yet, I am sure your pleo can be turned around.                       RWM

Thanks for your help guys! I will try the probe rb tomorrow with the leaves and then change rb if there isn't a problem with the chip

Okay so feed level has gone up to 9% but I don't remember her eating! I tried change RB but when it asks for the mint leaf or ID card, I put it in her mouth and it doesn't do anything then after a few seconds it says cancelled. I think the sensor in her mouth may be faulty.

Change RB is the one that changes stats, probe RB is the one that tells you if things are faulty it's confusing I know

When you put a leaf in her mouth what happens? Is there any sort of response like lowering the head and dropping the leaf? Waving the head side to side and dropping it? Anything at all that might indicate she is reading it?

It could easily be that she ate without showing signs of eating such as chomping if you force fed by putting the leaf in her mouth.  My guys wont always make the chomping sound and eating movements when they have food.  Sometimes they will just drop what ever is in their mouth right away. 
I think it is a good sign that her feed level has gone up a little.  Persevere and keep trying with the food leaf.  Fingers crossed probe rb will be able to help shed some light on the issue.

She doesn't react when I put anything in front of her face or in her mouth. I tried force feeding again and nothing. All of her stats are high so she is happy so should be wanting to eat and cooperate but nothing happens. It's just the same behaviour every time. I am going to contact the seller again as he said he didn't have issues. I may need to bite the bullet and buy a new one
