Nope, you're not seeing things.  Something is different . . . things are changing.    Well, things are getting cleaned up.    Hopefully.  

Over the next couple of weeks, don't be alarmed (or in the immortal words of Douglas Adams, DON'T PANIC! ), things may get moved around, features may come and go, links may get moved.  But rest assured, it's just me getting an early start on spring cleaning.   I'll be working in the background throwing out old stuff, dusting things off, backing up files, installing updates, and removing things we don't use anymore.

So, if things look odd, or you can't find the button for something, or pages aren't loading right, hopefully it's just a momentary glitch created by me moving files or running programs.  BUT please do post here if you are experiencing problems with the forums! . . . and I'll try to remember to post here a day or two before I do anything major!

Just for reference the three icons above the chat box all show up as missing graphics for me.  Not sure if they're really missing or just weird caching on my machine.

What version of what browser are you using?  Of course they may be missing for me too . . .  All I see above the chat box are three drop-down menus.

I use google chrome and they are missing for me too.  Have been ever since I started using chrome

Yeah so its the three "menu items" apparently.  They show up as text in Firefox but as broken graphic links in Chrome.  The still seem to work when you click on them however.

Hmmmm . . . I've got Chrome v28 and EI11 on a Win7pro system and they come up . . . and (of course) they show up in Firefox as well.  The mod is supposedly compliant with IE, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari.  I'll check on a few more machines here in a bit.

Oops I think part of that was bad terminology on part in the first post.  Should have said the Shout Box icons, not the Chat window.  Those are the three that show up as broken links.

The pop-downs on the Chat window work fine but it gives me an Object# <HTMLObjectElement> has no method 'create' error whenever I launch it.  Seems to work after that.

Well, the updates are done. 
Now it's time to clean up the mess and maybe tweak a few settings . . .

So, if you are having problems with things not working right or you see something that doesn't look right, please post a message here and we'll take a look and see if we can figure out what's up.   

Issues we're already working on include:

• The tabs for the smiley sets aren't displaying properly.
• The title for the shout box appears in the wrong place then vanishe.

Looking at the downloads section and we no longer seem to have the PDK or My Skit and Dinomite tools etc....  Are these somewhere else and I didn't see them or can we get them back into the download section?

Kat - check out 'Pleo Tools' in Downloads.  Though I can't see MySkit either.

Ok I was looking for Pleo Tools as a sub menu in the downloads tab.  When you hover over downloads you get a sub menu to choose from but tools isn't one of the options.  Maybe this can be added in?  If you just click on the download tab then tools is one of the thread options at the bottom of the page so looks like it is still there.  No MySkit though.  would be great to have this added back in

The stores page is looking a little weird for me too.  the heading seems to be a bit high and covering some of the stuff above it.

I downloaded MySkit from the web about two weeks ago, just google it

I would love to include it, but MySkit has never been part of our downloads, at the request of the developer.  It can be found here: http://www.dogsbodynet.com/myskit/

Even on the PleoWorld downloads, it's just a link to his site.

Added a "All downloads" item to the Downloads pull-down sub-menu.  We currently have eight categories in the downloads, and the menu system really only handles 4-5 items in the sub-menu before it starts interfering with things, so I originally just picked the top 4 categories. 

I also cleaned up the Stores main page.  Take a look and see if it's better on your browser now!
