Suddenly, Jamie's eyes won't open anymore and he seems to never want to eat anymore. He does everything else properly.
Any ideas?

Something came to mind, you know Pleos eyes won't open up if Pleos mouth is closed.....

     I believe you mean that Pleo will not close his eyes if his mouth is open. This is because the eyes and mouth are controlled by a single motor. Moving within a certain range opens and closes the eyes. moving beyond that range opens the mouth. So for Pleo to open his mouth his eyes must b open, to close his eyes. His mouth must be closed. 

It sounds like the motor in the OP's Pleo's head is stuck or broken. When you Pleo "Doesn't want to eat" does that mean Pleo does not open it's mouth at all?

Unfortunately if it is broken. it won't be an easy fix

Hey everyone, thanks for the replies and welcome messages! 

In fact, both his mouth and eyes are closed all the time, they won't open. Everything else with him works fine.
If I gently push them to open (either eyes or mouth) they do open but of course I'm not pushing too hard as I don't want to break anything inside him accidentally.

If the motors of both eyes and mouth are combined, does this mean they might just be stuck? (hope not broken). Anyone with ideas on how I can solve this?
My girlfriend treasures Jaime like a real pet and is so attached to him, I really do want to fix him (without having to damage of course).

Is there any software we can use to program him via the USB or SD card? For example, send in an instruction to open the mouth and eyes...
Do you think I should try to re-install the OS? Or will this all be non-sense?

You can use MySkit to write a routine to open the mouth & eyes.  Then, if you run the skit and the mouth and eyes don't open, then you know its a mechanical problem.  You can also use Dino-MITE to check the registers to see if pleo *thinks* he's opening his eyes/mouth or if there is resistance in the feedback sensors.
