Hi guys,

i found LI-POLY Batterys in Germany. I wanted to order a charger and 2 Batterys for myself and i wanted to check if
anyone else is interested???

The Battery is priced 44$ and the charger is priced 30$ plus shipping(approx.40$)!

That would be approx. 110$ for 1 charger and 1 battery.

The more people order the cheaper it will get for each of us

It would be great if you could let me know as soon as possible because i would like to order soon :-)

For those interested, see June's posts in the Batteries topic on the Hardware board. Seems to be a good battery and a reliable company. Wish we could find someone who lived in Taiwan. Their site sells the same battery AND charger combined for about $45US. ( Battery:http://www.ucube.com.tw/product.php?productpk=6 Charger: http://www.ucube.com.tw/product.php?productpk=5 )But they won't ship outside of Taiwan.

If you but as a group, does that $40 shipping include shipping from Li-Tech to the one person buying, and then to ship to the other individuals? If not, the added second shipping cost may offset any savings from ordering as a group . . .

To Netherlands: I think it would be cheaper for you
if you would try to order it from them.
They actually don't ship anymore but maybe they will do
an exception;-)

Yes I expect it should cover all the costs(40$).
What I wanted to do is let them ship to my parents in law
(since they won't ship to the US) and they would ship it to me!

Have you been successful with getting a reply from Ucube? I sent email and 2 faxes, nothing as of yet I want the poly batteries with charger,

About the batteries from Germany:

The batteries are all sold out, I know as I tried ordering them myself and there won't be any new as their are no more suppliers who have them
Also searching on the internert there is no otherthat has those special long duration rechargeable batteries, only the charger is still on stock

Litec Computers also stopped mail trading, you have to drive to Munich to get it to there.

I suggest to get spare original NIMH pleo ones instead from www.pleoroom.com or ebay e.g.

Unfortunately our order is on the way already. We got some chargers and batterys but they belong to somebody already.

It is a little while ago that i posted the thread and just one person answered.

What i can do is to call the company and check if they can get some more batterys and chargers and i will let you know!

To Necky83- I thank you for your help! I'm sorry I did not respond sooner. We have been in the process of opening a new business. Money's been tight, but it's finally starting to roll in. If for future reasons, I am still interested. But I thank you nonetheless!

I have managed. I have placed my order now. My email was replied too just after the Taiwanese holidays has ended. Also spoken to them on the phone, a very good and very easy to understand English have to admit.

So Ucube ("Ugobe Asia") is still in business and supporting the product and the sellers over there. All I have to do tomorrow is to transfer the money from my bank.

I didn't do anything special, just wrote an English email into their contact form on their homepage.

I was interested in ordering form them until they quoted £60 for the battery and charger! I can't afford that sort of money right now.

At Ucube.com.tw 2 chargers and batteries plus shipping to EU (Germany in my case) did cost 120 USD. if you divide that by 2 you get around 34 Pounds so just the half
