I'd not heard of these before and they do look like a great idea.  It is a shame they are so expensive.  These could be great to use in schools to get across lots of different science concepts in a fun way. 
I notice that they even do a Bluetooth cube.  wonder what possibilities that opens up for the cubelets?

I totally agree with you. A lot can be learned about robots by seeing how different blocks interact with one another. It's a very innovative idea, but they need to be much less expensive. Even $10 a block would be better!
