I ordered an extra pleo foods pack, and I just got it in the mail. It sounds like something is clinking around inside the mushroom. Does this mean the RFID chip is broken? Is this normal? If nobody knows, I guess I'll just test it out on Pleo rb when he/she arrives.

my Mushroom does not make any noise, neither do any of the other food items, What I would do, to document and protect yourself, is to video everything that happens like this, Do a short , perhaps 15 second video today with todays date stamp on it, so if it DOES not work with Pleo Rb when it arrives, you have it documented. Let Innvo Labs know  NOW before Pleo Rb has even arrived, it hurts nothing. Then when Pleo Rb arrives, it is going to be tricky, because in the first few cycles of battery, they may NOT want to eat, and this is normal. Also some Pleo RB do not LIKE mushroom, but if it is a broken chip, you should know because anything they do not want to eat, they should turn their head to the side and make a no type sound.

           I would let Innvo labs know right away, and they may just send you another one, Don't let any time go by, it is possible it got broken in the mailing, Anyway, I document everything...perhaps other members will have different advice but I would let them know right away. Be sure to let them know the other things, Chili pepper, sugar cane, or what other food items came with it do not have any shaking loose sound. Hope this makes sense to you.

I wouldn't worry -too- much.   My Pleo's ice chip rattles around and it works just fine.  It's probably just come loose, but should still be able to be recognized.

 I would just go ahead and use it, but if Pleo Rb does not respond then you know it is broken but if it is just loose, your Pleo rb can most likely still recognize the chip and will work either way. RWM
