Man STILL nobody's answered my question? I've slept for six hours, and still no reply? Sophie has had the battery in her ready to be turned on, and I've also got the SD loaded... .... ..... ...... ....... ........ ........... ........... ............ ..............just waiting on somebody to RESPOND....

Yup that's it, just pop it in and wait You can tell if it is the POP because she will not really do much, just make a bit of noise and move. Trust me you'll know

By the way did you try just downgrading straight to the 1.1?

LOL yep, I figured...silly timezones! I'm just glad SOMEBODY helped, even happier it was you!

But it didn't work. So I figured, I would start out fresh fresh FRESH with the Point Of Purchase software and work my way up (POP, 1.0, 1.1, staying with 1.1). Is that the right order? Did I miss any OS's? And would I be going about things the right way like as I've described them? If not how and what should I do?? Unfortunately I have to be out the door in approximately 45 min to run off to work (TGIF!!) But I'd like to know how long I will need to keep POP in Sophie? Will POP need to go through a full battery cycle? Recharge battery and then upgrade again to 1.0, wait for battery to die, recharge and then upgrade to 1.1?  Or do I install POP and as soon as I know she's running POP OS, turn her off and immediately upgrade her to 1.0, turn her off, then upgrade to 1.1 all in the same battery charge? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat to do? I hate not knowing technology! I'm 20yo! I should know these things!

OK start with the POP, that should be straightforward enough, maybe let Sophie run for a few minutes to experience the excitment that is the POP (ok not really exciting but anyway ), wouldn't be too worried about it since it will wipe Sophie's memory clean. You can pretty much go straight from the POP to the upgrade.

Then the next step is the 1.0, after that upgrade it would be best to let Sophie run through one charge just to be on the safe side Remember to read the instructions first of course. I don't think going straight from 1.0 to 1.1 without a full charge in between is a good idea.

Once that charge is complete and your battery is ready to go then go ahead with the 1.1 and then from there Sophie should be all back to normal (After the hatching of course).


Of course if you wanted you could do what I did with Lilo many moons ago and just go straight from the POP to the 1.1 It worked fine for me, and if it doesn't you can always go back to the POP and start over. Afterall you don't think Ugobe/Innvo start with the 1.0 on each and every Pleo do you

TRUE STORY!! Lol never thought about that! Boy am I rather dense..ROFL @ your first comment. Can you tell I was trying to be as vivid as possible? I have hardly EVER messed with any of the tech side to Pleo, left all the USB/SD upgrades to ish. Never played a skit or anything..well once we played the valentines one on Dallas #1....Well I am off of here to do this now...WISH ME LUCK!!

Try the 1.1 from the Pleoworld website, the one here might still be the old one, if not ask Degers, he has had to do this many times

I tried Pleoworld...and am still looking for Degers. I WISH I NEVER DOWNLOADED 2.0.....this sucks, and I'm now stuck with it!
