 HOw long have you had your Pleo? Is it still under warranty? Do you have another clock battery, perhaps trying a new clock battery as they do wear out, even though they can last for more than a year, I have had to replace one battery in a pleo twice for some reason. Did you run any other programs recently before your pleo stopped running?
                 Your pleo sounds "similar" to a problem I have been having with Cammie Sue. She completely stopped running and her battery light on the stomach stayed green, but no sound or noise at all. Have you by any chance run either Stats RB or Probe Rb on your Pleo lately? I am sure Mike or others can help even without aid of a computer. Let us know any other vital information.            RWM

Have you tried cleaning the battery terminals? (And won't the new charger work from the old cable?)

Also I merged your two topics, it's much more helpful to have all the information in one place.

You can use a tissue or a soft cloth to give the three little silver dots on the bottom of the battery a rub clean and then do the same gently for the corresponding springs inside the pleos belly.  I would also do as RWM suggested and perhaps get a replacement for the foot clock battery to see if giving him a new one of those makes any difference.

I may have made a breakthrough here, I replaced his clock battery, and he worked till he fell asleep about an hour in and now he is back to doing the same thing.

Interesting, maybe try giving the foot terminals a clean?
