Ugobe speaker issues
« on: April 04, 2013, 10:42:26 PM »

I turned my Ugobe pleo on today and he is suddenly very quiet. Whenever Rango makes a sound, it's muffled and only out of his back speaker. I have tried pressing the pleo button and that is definitely not the problem.  Also, Rango is not making nearly as many different sounds that he did before, and his movements are slow. Do you guys have any suggestions?

My first guess would be loose speaker wire to the front speaker.  The fact that Rango is not making nearly as many different sounds is because some sounds are sent to the front speaker only, and if it is not working, then no sounds.

Try putting your ears right up to the mouth/head and see if you hear any sounds at all coming from the speaker.

I don't hear anything at all coming from his front. Is there any way I could fix without too much risk of creating a bigger problem? Rango still works and everything, but I really do miss all those sounds that come out of  the front speaker.
